Tripura NEET Counselling 2026 is the state counselling for MBBS, BDS, BHMS and BAMS seats, run by the Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC) under the Directorate of Medical Education, Tripura, on NEET UG 2026 ranks. It fills Tripura state quota seats and 105 MBBS seats for other-state candidates. The Round 3 result is scheduled for 13 October 2026.

Tripura NEET Counselling 2026 Important Dates
Rounds 1 and 2 are over, and the Round 3 merit list and allotment result are scheduled for 13 October 2026, with admission by 17 October 2026. A stray vacancy round may follow if seats are still vacant. The 2027 counselling is expected around August 2027, after the NEET UG 2027 result.

Which seats are filled through Tripura NEET counselling?
TRMCC fills the Tripura state quota seats in medical, dental and AYUSH colleges, the state quota seats Tripura gets in colleges outside the state, and 105 MBBS seats kept for candidates from other states.

For All India Quota seats, register separately in MCC NEET counselling. The bulletin says no All India Quota seats will be reverted to the state quota.

The Round 1 seat matrix of 20 August 2026 listed these seats. Later rounds offer only the seats left vacant or newly added.

How to apply for Tripura NEET Counselling 2026?
You register once on the TRMCC portal, pay the registration fee and security deposit, and then fill choices in each round. Fresh registration is allowed in every round, and registered candidates need not register again.
Apply Online for Tripura NEET Counselling 2026
The Tripura NEET Counselling 2026 application window (18 to 27 August 2026, 3 PM on 18 August to 11 AM on 27 August) has closed.
- Open the TRMCC UG counselling page and select Online Registration for UG Counselling while registration is open. In 2026, Round 1 registration ran from 18 to 27 August.
- Register with your NEET UG 2026 details. Data from your NTA application is pre-filled and cannot be changed.
- Choose your seat type (state quota or All India other than Tripura) and upload your documents.
- Pay the registration fee and security deposit online by net banking, RTGS, NEFT or UPI, and submit the form.
- After online verification, remove any discrepancy flagged, then fill and lock your choices of course and college.
- Check the merit list and allotment result. If allotted, collect the nomination letter in person from the DME office, Agartala, and take admission at the college after physical verification.

The registration fee is non-refundable. The security deposit is forfeited if you are allotted a seat in Round 2 or later and do not join, or if your admission is cancelled for wrong information or missing documents.
How to log in to the TRMCC counselling portal?
You log in to complete your registration and payment, fill and lock choices, and see your merit position and allotment.
- Open the official login page and select Online Registration for UG Counselling.
- Select Tripura – Under Graduate Medical Counselling 2026 as the counselling.
- Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
- Type the security pin shown on the screen (it is case sensitive) and select Sign In.
- Check your registration status, fill or lock choices in the open window, and view your allotment.
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page, which resets it through an OTP. There is also a Forgot Roll Number option. For other problems, email [email protected] with your name, NEET roll number, NEET rank, mobile number and email ID.
Who can apply for Tripura state quota seats?
You need a NEET UG 2026 rank and must meet one of the five domicile clauses of the 2026 bulletin.
- Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English passed individually, with 50% in PCB together (40% for SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD).
- Clause 1: Indian citizen and permanent resident of Tripura, with the candidate or parents living in Tripura for at least 10 years before the NEET UG application. You must not claim domicile of any other state.
- Clause 2: children of All India Services officers of the Tripura cadre, and of state government employees posted outside Tripura.
- Clause 3: children of state deputationists or central government employees who have served in Tripura for 3 years or more, if the candidate studied the qualifying exam in Tripura.
- Clause 4: wards of ex-servicemen who have lived in Tripura for at least 5 years and passed Class 12 in the NEET year.
- Clause 5: children of serving defence personnel from Tripura who have lived in Tripura for 5 years and passed Class 12 from a Tripura institution.
The 105 MBBS seats for candidates from other states follow central government and NMC norms. You must also give an undertaking that you will not take a state quota seat of any other state this session.
How are Tripura state quota seats reserved?
State quota seats follow the Tripura reservation policy, with UR, EWS, ST and SC seats, sub-category seats for wards of ex-servicemen (WESM) and 5% horizontal reservation for PwD. OBC-NCL reservation applies only on the seats for other-state candidates.
- An ST or SC candidate can take an unreserved seat if their merit allows it.
- PwD claims need an online eligibility certificate from an NMC-designated medical board; the PwD sub-category cannot be claimed if it was not declared in MCC registration.
- A candidate with both PwD and WESM status picks only one sub-category.
- In Round 3 and the stray vacancy round, unfilled seats are converted: PwD and WESM seats to their parent category, EWS to UR, ST to SC and SC to ST, then ST or SC to UR, and OBC to UR on other-state seats.
How do Tripura counselling rounds, upgrades and exits work?
There are three online rounds and a stray vacancy round, and the rules get stricter each round.
- Round 1 has a free exit: you need not join the allotted college to take part in Round 2.
- To keep a Round 1 seat and try for an upgrade, join the college and give upgrade willingness; an upgrade cancels the earlier seat.
- If you join a Round 2 seat you can upgrade but cannot resign. Not joining a Round 2 seat forfeits your security deposit.
- Once you join a Round 3 seat you cannot upgrade or resign. Not joining a Round 3 seat means exit with forfeiture and no further rounds.
- Candidates holding any central or state seat after Round 3 are removed from the stray vacancy round, which may be held offline.
- Admitted candidates execute a service bond and a discontinuation bond at nomination or admission.
What documents do you need for Tripura NEET counselling?
Upload these at registration and carry the originals for physical verification at the college.
- NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card.
- Age proof: birth certificate, Class 10 admit card or Class 10 pass certificate.
- Class 12 mark sheet, with a grade-to-marks conversion if grades were given.
- Domicile clause proof: PRTC of the candidate or parents, or the parents’ service or deputation certificate, or the WESM certificate.
- SC, ST or OBC-NCL certificate from the competent authority, if applicable.
- EWS income and asset certificate for 2025-26, if applicable.
- WESM certificate from the Rajya Sainik Board, if applicable.
- Online PwD eligibility certificate from an NMC-designated medical board, if applicable.
- Four passport-size photos for the nomination letter at the DME office.

- Under Important Notices, open the provisional allotment result for the round.
- Search the PDF for your NEET roll number or name.
