TS PECET 2020 Selection Process

Candidates are required to clear all the below given stages to take admission in particular course.

1. Physical Efficiency Test: The candidates need to appear for PET where they are judged according to the high jump / long jump and other admission criteria. The candidates are given marks from a total of 400.
2. Skill Test: After clearing PET, candidates need to appear for the skill test. This test is conducted according to the game selected by the candidates.
3. Counselling: After clearing all the above given tests, the candidates need to appear for the counselling for taking final admission in either B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed course.

How is TS PECET 2020 Result Calculated?

The authorities prepare TS PECET 2020 rank cards based on the candidates’ scores in entrance exam and incentive marks taken together. The marking scheme followed for the same is mentioned below. Please note that this marking scheme is as per previous year information.

For Physical Efficiency Test: This section will account for a total of 400 marks.

Skill Test in Game: The candidate has to choose any one of the specified games for the skill test. 100 marks are allotted for this section.

How to Download TS PECET 2020 Rank Card?

Rank Card for TS PECET is published online at pecet.tsche.ac.in. Check the steps given below for the same.

Step 1: Click on the link given above or go to official website.

Step 2: Then, click on the link of the ‘rank card’.

Step 3: Provide the login credentials such as hall ticket number and date of birth in the login window.

Step 4: After entering all the detais, click on the button ‘view rank card’.

Step 5: Download the rank card and save it somewhere safe.

TS PECET 2020 Counselling

After issuing the rank card, the exam conducting body conducts counseling for the shortlisted candidates. The steps given below can be checked to know about the counselling process.

• Appear at the helpline centres for the document verification
• Exercise the web options to select the courses and colleges
• Download the allotment letter uploaded on the website
• Report at the allotted counselling centre with proper set of documents for the further process of admission

Then, allotment letter is uploaded on the website which must be downloaded by the candidates. After downloading the allotment letter, candidates need to report at the counselling centre with proper set of documents.

About TS PECET 2020

Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) is a state level exam conducted for admission to B.P.Ed. and D.P.Ed. courses in Telangana colleges. It is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda. The test is of 500 marks in total. The candidates are tested according to their physical efficiency and skill set in the particular game.
