NIFT entrance exam is one of the toughest Fashion and Design Entrance Exams 2016 – 2017. It offers admission to the fashion and design courses. 120 minutes will be provided to solve this examination. NIFT entrance exam is scheduled in the month of February every year. The exam paper will have 150 questions. The applicant should have cleared the qualifying examination. Being toughest, the exam needs consistent preparation. The exam comprises of five sections.

Another renowned Fashion and Design Entrance Exams 2016 – 2017 is PAF entrance exam which is conducted at the institute level. This PAF entrance test is conducted in the month of January (cycle 1), April (cycle 2) and in June (cycle 3) every year. Candidates are selected by the design aptitude test which followed by personal interview. The applicant must have passed class 12th from any recognized board. This medium of the test is English only. The test is organized at various test centers. Applicants having the option of opting for maximum of 2 course choices.

NID entrance exam is the institute level entrance exam which is usually scheduled in the month of January every year. This designed aptitude test is organized with the objective to offer admission in the designing courses. The design aptitude test is followed by studio test and the personal interview round. To appear in the entrance exam, the candidates need to have passed the 12th class/ senior secondary examination form the recognized board. The upper age limit for the applicant is 20 years.

AIEED is one of the deemed Fashion and Design Entrance Exams 2016 – 2017 which is conducted in online as well as offline mode. The exam tests the aesthetic sense, creativity and design sensitivity of the students. The conducted is conducted in the series which commence in the month of April and continues till June. The exam is organized at various test centers. To appear in the exam, the candidates must have passed intermediate class from any recognized board. All the applicants 16 years and above are eligible for AIEED.

This is the institute level entrance examination which offers admission in the design courses. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of May every year. The applicant must have passed class 12th exam from any recognized board. The entrance exam includes online test and studio test/ GD and personal interview. No negative marking is applicable for the wrong answers. The entrance exam consists of nearly four sections. The exam will have 60 questions in total. It is compulsory for all the candidates to give all the three tests.
