NEET PG Counselling 2017 is the online counselling for All India Level Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination know as NEET PG, and seat allotment. Online counselling for NEET PG 2017 is being looked after by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Candidates who have qualified in the NBE NEET PG 2017 are eligible to participate in the online counselling for all India 50% quota seats for 2017 admission session. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for entrance to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in terms of Section 10 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as amended in 2016 shall be conducted by the National Board of Examinations.

NEET PG Counselling 2017

Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is holding the online counseling for 50% All India Quota post-graduate Medical seats. Counselling for NEET PG 2017 is being conducted on the basis of NEET PG Result 2017 declared by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

All India 50% quota seats admission through NEET PG 2017 counselling by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is only for qualified candidates. Other candidates who score more than the minimum qualifying score but less than the cut off score in their respective category (SC/ST/OBC/UR) for candidates do not figure in the result for All India 50% quota seats.

Notified on 27 Apr 2017: – Candidates who wish to resign from the PG seat allotted through All India Quota PG 2017 Round-1 and Round-2 are advised to obtain online generated resignation /seat surrender receipt from allotted college (generated through online counseling software).

Facility for online reporting of resignation is available on http://intramcc.nic.in, and will be available till 05:00 PM of 09.05.2017

Please report all resignations online only through Seat Surrender ‘Resignation (Surrender) of Allotted seat if the candidate is not satisfied’ of ‘Allotted Institute Incharge (Admin)’ module of http://intramcc.nic.in for MCC record. Please note that this information may be used for placing before Hon’ble Court(s) in pending Court cases, if needed.

All Participating Institutions are requested to report online all those Resignation (Surrender) of Allotted seats, in respect of candidates who were relieved offline, if any.

Please note that if any candidate resigns, then she/he will not be eligible to participate in further round of All India Quota Online counseling PG 2017 if held further.

In case of Difficulty in New Registration for 50% PG AIQ- 2017:

In case the eligible candidate’s are finding difficulty in Registration please ensure the following:

  • Use the confirmation number and Testing ID as mentioned on score card issued by National Board of Examination (NBE).
  • Write mother’s name that you have filled up in your application form, it must be exactly same (spelling, space, dot, salutation etc.)

Registration, and Submission of choices in the counselling process for NEET PG

Briefly, following is the procedure for NEET PG Counselling.

  1. Registration – Candidates who have qualified the NEET PG, have to register for the online NEET PG counseling at www.mcc.nic.in.
  2. Selection of choices – The next step involved exercising of choices, indicative seats and locking of choices.
  3. Seat Allotment – As per merit / rank obtained in NEET PG, and seat preference, the NEET PG seat allotment will be done and published online at www.mcc.nic.in.

Documents Required

Since it is online allotment (Online Counseling) process, no documents will be required for participating in online allotment process. However they are required to carry Original Certificates/Documents at time of Reporting for Admission. Without Original Certificate/Documents candidates will not be allowed admission.

Original documents required at the time of joining in allotted Medical/Dental College are as mentioned below:

  • Admit Card issued by NBE
  • Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE
  • Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd & 3rd Professional Examinations.
  • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.
  • Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st March, of the year of admission.
  • Permanent/provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Counsel. Provision Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where candidate is undergoing internship land likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of year of admission.
  • High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date or birth.
  • Candidates allotted seat must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission (as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for AIPGMEE i.e. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card).
  • The Candidate should also bring the following certificates, if applicable
    • SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the prospectus) and should be in English or Hindi language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate
    • OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus.
    • Orthopaedic Physical Disability {Physically Handicapped (PH)} Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Boards. No other PH certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained.

Candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/Dental College.

Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University” shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/Dental College.

Counselling for PG Seats

All India 50 % Quota Seats: Counseling for All India 50% quota seats shall be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India using the result of NEET-PG 2017 All India 50% Quota Seats.

State Quota Seats: Counseling for admission to state quota seats shall be conducted by the concerned States /designated authority/University using NET PG Scores as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations, guidelines and applicable reservation policies.

Admission to Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: Counseling for admission to private Medical Colleges, Institutions, Universities & Deemed Universities shall be conducted by the designated counseling authority of these Private Colleges/Institutions/Institutes/Universities/Deemed Universities using NEET-PG scores and as per applicable Regulations and/or their eligibility
criteria, reservation policy, etc

Admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: Counseling for admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions shall be conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, Government of India using NEET-PG scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations & guidelines.

Admission to DNB Broad Specialty Courses (Jan 2017 Session): Centralized merit based Counseling for admission to DNB Courses shall be conducted by NBE using NEET-PG scores.

Counselling for MDS Seats

All India 50% Quota Seats: Counseling for All India 50% quota seats shall be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India using the result of NEET-MDS 2017 for All India 50% Quota Seats.

State Quota Seats: Counseling for admission to state quota seats shall be conducted by the concerned States /designated authority/University using NEET-MDS scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations, guidelines and applicable reservation policies.

Admission to Private Dental Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: Counseling for admission to MDS courses in private Dental Colleges, Institutions, Universities & Deemed Universities shall be conducted by the designated counseling authority of these Private Colleges/Institutions/Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities using NEET-MDS scores and as per applicable Regulations and/or their eligibility criteria, reservation policy, etc

Admission to Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions: Counseling for admission to MDS courses in Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions shall be conducted by the Army Dental Corps, Ministry of Defence, Government of India using NEET-MDS scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations & guidelines.
