The CG Pre MCA syllabus 2027 has four parts: Mathematics at the 10+2 level, Computer Awareness, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. The latest official syllabus, issued by DTE Chhattisgarh for 2026-27, sets 75, 30, 30 and 15 questions. The 6 June 2027 paper is expected to follow it.
Latest (31 August 2026): CGSSB (formerly CG Vyapam) released its 2027 exam calendar, which lists Pre MCA on 6 June 2027. The 2027 notification and form dates are awaited.

What is in the CG Pre MCA Mathematics syllabus?
Mathematics is the biggest part, with 75 of the 150 questions, at the 10+2 level. These are the topic groups in the official syllabus.

Computer Awareness has 30 questions on computer basics, data representation and programming.

What do the Reasoning and General Awareness parts cover?
Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning has 30 questions on reasoning, including visual and spatial reasoning. General Awareness has 15 questions.
- Reasoning: verbal and non-verbal reasoning, including figure-based (visuospatial) questions.
- General Awareness: business, finance, industry, transport, science and inventions, governance, health care and culture.
- Recent papers also asked current-affairs questions from the same year.
What is the CG Pre MCA 2027 exam pattern and marking?
The paper has 150 questions for 150 marks in four parts, as set in the official 2026-27 syllabus.

How should you prepare for CG Pre MCA 2027?
Half the marks come from Class 11 and 12 level Mathematics, so start there.
- Revise Class 11 and 12 Mathematics fully, with extra time on calculus, coordinate geometry and probability.
- For Computer Awareness, learn number systems, Boolean algebra and basic C programming.
- Practise reasoning puzzles and figure series every day.
- Read the news regularly for the General Awareness part.
- Solve past papers on the CG Pre MCA question papers page in 3 hours; papers before 2024 had 200 questions, so use their sections for practice.
- Attempt every question, since a wrong answer costs nothing.
