IIT Bombay the organizing body of JAM exam this year, will issue the admit card for JAM 2018 on the official website which is Since, the date of exam is February 11, 2018, and the Admit Card will be issued on 9th January 2018. You should have your credentials close to you such as Enrollment ID and Password to be entered on the admit card download link. It is mandatory to take the admit card to the test centre. Also do not forget to carry some valid identity proof document for verification at the centre.

IIT JAM 2018 Admit Card

JAM 2018 Admit Card must be preserved carefully by the Candidate and produced at the time of admission. Failure to do which, The Organizing Institute will get the authority withdraw the permission granted to a candidate to appear in the examination. Also, even though an Admit Card has been issued to you and it is found at a later stage that the candidate is not eligible to appear in the exam Centre, it will be discarded right away.

Hall Ticket for Joint Admission Test for M.Sc will be available from 09 January 2018 from JAM 2018 website till Examination Date. No candidate will be intimated about the admit card by post/E-mail medium. So how will you obtain it. Do not worry. Here are the steps you can take a look at.

Steps to download the admit card for IIT JAM 2018

  • Visit the official website by following the link that we will provide you here when the admit card is made available
  • All you would need to do enter Enrollment ID/Email ID– enter Enrollment ID sent during registration ID/Email ID
  • Enter the Password- enter your JAOPS password (it is case sensitive)
  • Enter the text– you will observe an arithmetic expression which you will have to evaluate and place the value in the required space
  • Submit the details
  • Take a print of the ticket

What to do after downloading the hall ticket?

The candidate after taking the print, should carefully examine the Admit Card for all the entries made therein. In case there is any discrepancy, it should be informed to the Organizing Chairman of JAM 2018 immediately.

What is printed on the admit card?

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Roll Number
  • Date of Exam
  • Registration Number
  • Parent’s Name
  • Photograph & E-Signature
  • Name(s) and Code(s) of the Test Paper(s)
  • Name and Address of the Test Centre allotted

Procedure at the test centre

You must carry a printout of the downloaded Admit Card to the test centre along with the original and valid photo identification. The id proof brought must be the same about which you mentioned in the application form. For instance if you had selected Aadhar Card as your ID proof and also provided its number, then carry Aadhar card to the test centre.

Special Note – no entry is to be permitted in JAM 2018 examination without a valid Admit Card, and a valid and original ID.

Non-availability of admit card

There may be cases, when the candidate has forgotten his/her enrollment id/ email id and in scenario of being unable to download the admit card. The candidates do not need to panic but follow the standard procedure i.e first of all look for the forgot enrollment id tab and you will observe several options in front of you that looks like this

If the candidate is still not able to download the Admit Card, then inform the Chairman of JAM 2018. It is possible that you will get more options asa window to address your query like Phone/Fax/E-mail, Mailing Address and City Code of the desired Test Centre (first choice), giving the Online Enrolment ID, Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, to get information about the Registration Number and the Name of the Test Centre allotted.
