How to Download JAM 2021 Admit Card?
The candidates can only download the JAM 2021 admit card online. The admit card is not sent to the candidates via post or personally via email. Thus, the candidates have to log in at JOAPS and download the admit card. Check the steps given below to download the admit card.
1st step: Click on the direct link available on this page as soon as the admit card is out.
2nd step: Next, the candidates are directed to the JOAPS portal. Here enter the enrollment id / e-mail id and password, security code, as shown below.

3rd Step: After entering all the details, click on the ‘submit’ button.
4th step: Lastly, download the admit card that appears on the screen and take its printout for further use.
Note: The official authority may withdraw the permission to appear in JAM 2021 if the candidate is found to be ineligible even though, the admit card is issued to him / her or even if the candidate has produced the admit card in front of the Presiding Officer of the test centre.
What to do If Unable to Download / Discrepancy in JAM 2021 Admit Card?
In case of errors or if unable to download the admit card, candidates have to follow the instructions as follows:
In case of errors in the admit card of JAM 2021: In case of any discrepancy, the candidate should inform the Organizing Chairman, JAM 2021, IISc Bangalore immediately.
In case of admit card is not issued: If a candidate is not able to download the admit card, then he / she must contact the Chairperson JAM of the respective IISc / IITs, under which the first choice Test City / Town of the candidate falls, may be contacted through Phone / Fax / E-mail. The candidates have to provide the below-given details while contacting the authorities:
- Name
- Enrollment id
- Registration number
- E-mail id
- Mailing address
- City Code of the desired Test Centre (first choice) to get information about the Registration Number and the Name of the Test Centre allotted.

What to Carry with JAM 2021 Admit Card?
It is mandatory to carry the JAM 2021 admit card on the day of the examination. Along with the admit card, the candidates need to carry the valid and original id proof.
Acceptable valid id proofs:
- Aadhaar ID
- College ID
- Driving License
- Employee ID
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Voter ID
Things that Must Not be Carried to the Exam Centre
The candidates are not allowed to carry the following items to the exam centre on the day of the examination.
- Mobile phones (not even in the switched-off mode)
- Any other electronic devices
- Charts
- Smartwatches
- Calculators
- Graph sheets
- Tables
A scribble pad is provided for rough work at the exam hall. The candidate has to write his/her name and registration number before using it. The candidate can possess only one scribble pad at any point in time. A second scribble pad is given only upon returning the first one. The scribble pad has to be returned at the end of the examination.
How to Recover JAM 2021 Enrollment Id and Password?
In order to download JAM 2021 admit card, the candidates need their enrollment id and password. However, if in case, the candidates forget their login credentials, the steps given below can be referred to get the credentials back.
Step 1 – Visit the official website and go to the login window.
Step 2 – Next, click on the button ‘Forgot Enrollment id and password’.

Step 3 – Following the step given above, the candidates will see 3 options.
- If you remember the enrollment ID and forgotten password, click on “Request for an OTP” to get one time password.
- If you already have an OTP, click on “Already have an OTP?” to reset the password.
- If you do not remember the enrollment ID, click on “Forgot Enrollment ID” to get enrollment ID via SMS.

By Using Option 1: By Requesting The OTP
For this, the candidates nee to first click on the button, Request for an OTP to get one time password. Next, the candidates need to enter their enrollment id and mobile number. Next, click on the button ‘Send OTP’ and retrieve the password.
By Using Option 2: Resetting the Password
For this, click on the button, ‘Already have an OTP’ . Then, enter the enrollement id, one-time password, new password. After entering the details, click on the ‘save new password’ button.
To get JAM 2021 Enrollment Id back
For this, click on the button, ‘Forgot Enrolment id’. In the next window, enter the mobile number and e-mail address. After entering all the details, click on the ‘send enrolment id’ button. Lastly, write the received enrolment id somewhere safe for further use.

Guidelines for JAM 2021
The candidates need to follow the instructions given below on the day of the examination.
- Carry the printed copy of JAM 2021 admit card positively on the day of the examination.
- On the day of the examination, there shall be provision for using an online virtual calculator. So, the candidates must not bring the calculators with them.
- The candidates are advised to reach the examination center 90 minutes before the examination.
- The candidates must sit on their allotted seats 45 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- The biometric verification will be done on the day of the examination. The candidates must have clean fingerprints. In other words, there should be no coating (ink, henna, mehendi or tattoo) on your fingertips.
- Until the examination is over, the candidates are not required to leave the exam center.
- The scribble pad will be provided to the candidates for the rough work during the examination. This scribble pad has to be returned at the end of the examination. Also, write the name and registration number on the scribble pad.
- At the end of 3 hours, the computer allotted to the candidates will automatically end the examination.
- The candidates must not tamper with the computer and the related hardware provided in the examination hall. If any candidate is found to have tampered it, then his / her candidature is liable to get cancelled and legal action will be taken against such candidates.

Marking Scheme:

JAM 2021 Result
The candidates can check JAM 2021 result at JOAPS. Also, the candidates can download the scorecard after entering the enrollment id / e-mail id and password. The scorecard consists of the following details:

Joint Admission Test for M.Sc is a computer-based test that is conducted at national level.
