How was Parth’s JEE Main 2014 rank worked out?
In 2014 the rank was based on 60% of the JEE Main score and 40% of normalised Class 12 marks, so a strong board score mattered. Parth’s 331 in JEE Main and 95.69% in HSC gave an overall normalised score of 319, as reported at the time. Since 2017 the rank uses only the JEE Main score.

What can JEE Main 2027 aspirants learn from him?
- Do not neglect Class 12: you need 75% (or a top 20 percentile board position) for NIT, IIIT and IIT seats.
