V-SAT 2027 (Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test, often written VSAT) is the entrance test of Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research, Guntur, for B.Tech, B.Pharm, Pharm-D and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture admission. Dates are not announced. Going by 2026, the test should run between January and April 2027.

Vignan has not published a V-SAT 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months based on the 2026 cycle, when candidates could choose a test date between January and 15 April 2026.

How to Apply for V-SAT 2027
You register for V-SAT online on the Vignan website and pay the fee at the end of the form. As of 9 October 2026 the form online is still labelled “Admissions Open 2026”, and Vignan has not announced when V-SAT 2027 registration opens.

Applications for V-SAT 2027 are expected in October 2026.
- Open the V-SAT registration form (or the V-SAT section of the Vignan admissions page) once 2027 registration is announced.
- Enter your name, contact number, date of birth and email ID.
- Choose the course you want, for example a B.Tech branch, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture or a biotechnology programme.
- Pick your preferred date of exam from the dates offered.
- Select Submit & Pay and complete the online payment.
- Keep your application number safe. It is also your V-SAT hall ticket number.

Who can apply for V-SAT 2027?
You can apply if you have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent exam with at least 60% aggregate marks. These rules are from Vignan’s admissions page and V-SAT 2026 result portal; Vignan may revise them for 2027.
- For the 2026 intake, candidates had to be born on or after 1 July 2005.
- Intermediate students from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other states are eligible if they meet the 60% aggregate.
- BiPC students can also seek admission to some programmes, including Biomedical, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Food Technology engineering, and B.Pharm.
- Candidates qualified in AP or TS EAPCET (EAMCET), JEE Main or JEE Advanced with at least 60% in Intermediate are also eligible for admission without V-SAT.
What is the V-SAT 2027 exam pattern?
Vignan says the V-SAT pattern mirrors JEE Main and EAMCET, but it has not published a 2027 pattern. The latest official paper available, the V-SAT 2021 booklet, had 120 multiple-choice questions in four sections.

In the 2021 paper each correct answer earned 1 mark, there was no negative marking and the test lasted 2 hours 30 minutes. The V-SAT 2026 result shows marks under the same four heads (Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General), and Vignan now describes V-SAT as an online test. How does admission work after V-SAT 2027?
Admission to B.Tech, B.Pharm, Pharm-D and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture is made on your V-SAT rank, or on an EAPCET, JEE Main/Advanced or NEET score under Category A. After the result, Vignan gives a counselling date and an online counselling link on the result screen.
- V-SAT rank also decides tuition scholarships. In 2026, ranks 1 to 50 got 75%, 51 to 200 got 50% and 201 to 2000 got 25%.
- A scholarship needs at least 80% marks in the qualifying exam, and V-SAT qualified candidates get preference for scholarship seats.
- At admission you show copies of your Intermediate marks list, Intermediate TC, Class 10 marks memo, Aadhaar card and caste certificate if applicable.
