WBJEEB JEHOM 2018 will be organized by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The examination will be held on June 23, 2018, for admission of candidates in Four years Degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The candidates will also be charged around Rs. 500/- for completion of the WBJEEB JEHOM 2018 Application Form. The board will open multiple options using which the candidates could pay the amount. The options will be ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan. Eligibility criteria for WBJEEB JEHOM 2018
- Candidate must be an Indian national
- Age criteria- not less than 17 years as on 31 December 2018
- The candidate must qualify and obtain a rank in JEHOM-2018.
- The candidate must have passed in 10+2 level examination in regular mode with minimum 45% marks from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or from any other equivalent board.
WBJEEB JEHOM 2018 Application procedure
Before you begin to apply, you will be required to read the information brochure. Applications will be made in Online mode. There shall be no printed application form. Candidates who intend to apply for JEHOM 2018 shall apply through the official website at wbjeeb.in A candidate must mandatorily have an email address and a valid mobile number.
Step-1 Registration– provide details like- Name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number and email id. Choose a secure password and you will login automatically.
Step-2 Fill the form– provide basic details, educational details, correspondence details, experience details etc.
Step-3 Upload scanned images

Step- 4 Payment– The candidate shall pay the required amount using ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan.
Step- 5 Confirmation Page- On successful completion of all the above steps, the candidate shall automatically be directed to the option for downloading the ‘Confirmation Page’ which means that the application is complete. The application is not complete until the confirmation page is generated.
JEHOM 2018 Application Fee
In order to complete the application form of WBJEEB JEHOM 2018, candidates would have to pay a certain amount of money applicable to application charges. The candidates will have to pay Rs. 500/- plus service charges. This amount was accepted by the Board using Allahabad bank services.
Note: Be careful while entering the registration details. It cannot be changed/edited/modified under normal circumstances. Also, the information must match exactly with the school admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates etc. which you have to produce to enter the examination hall, during counselling, during admission and during registration with the University.
Admit card of JEHOM 2018
The WBJEEB JEHOM 2018 admit cards will be issued to candidates around on the notified date in online mode at wbjeeb.in. Keep multiple copies as duplicate copies will not be issued. Carry this to the allotted examination center. Also, carry a blue/ black ball point pen. Check the letter for correctness and report the matter in case of discrepancy. Exam cities can be Durgapur, Kolkata, and Siliguri.
JEHOM 2018 Exam Pattern
- Mode- Offline mode i.e pen and paper mode
- Number of questions- 50 multiple choice type questions.
- Marks for correct answers- 2 marks
- Negative marking- -½ (25% negative marking)
- For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks
- No response will yield zero marks.
- Total marks- 100 marks
- Duration of test- 1 hour 30 minutes
- Medium of paper- English language only

Candidates shall get specially designed OMR sheets on which they will be required to indicate the ideal solutions. These answer sheets will be evaluated by Optical Marks Reader Machine. Therefore, no revaluation request will be entertained. You shall follow the correct method of marking the answers. Use only Blue/ Black ball point pen to shade the circle dark.
WBJEEB JEHOM Syllabus
The test pattern will have questions based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi of Higher Secondary Examination (12th class) taught under West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBSCHE).
WBJEEB JEHOM Final result announcement
The board will declare the final results after conducting all the formalities. You will not be intimated through any personal communication. Therefore, check the result on your own. The final result will be uploaded in form of rank cards. It shall be available on the candidate login of each candidate. No duplicate rank card will be generated. Candidates will be able to view and download their rank card by logging in with their password.
If any candidate needs a duplicate rank card even after completion of counselling and admission conducted by the Board, the same can be provided, but only until 31/07/2018. In order to get a duplicate rank card, the candidate has to apply to the Board and pay a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
Ranks cards with scores will be issued to all candidates, who appeared in the examination. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counselling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the board.
Counselling for WBJEEB JEHOM 2018 admissions
A separate notification with details of counseling/seat allotment and admission will be published in www.wbjeeb.in shortly after the publication of result. Candidates selected provisionally in the rank list will be called to attend the counseling procedure where their original documents will be checked and verified carefully by the admission committee. All verifications will be done at the designated venue. After scrutiny, registration of candidates will be done. The candidate has to appear himself/herself. No other person is allowed to appear for counselling and admission on behalf of the candidate.
