Assam CEE 2017 is an engineering entrance exam. DTE Assam is organizing Assam CEE 2017. It is for Assam state engineering colleges BE (under graduate engineering) admission. Assam CEE Admit Card 2017 is available for download from May 25, 2017. Those who have applied for the exam can download hall ticket from the official website of DTE Assam (Directorate of Technical Education). It is necessary to have admit card to enter exam hall and appear in exam.

Important Dates of Assam CEE 2017
All the important dates of Assam CEE 2017, as announced by DTE Assam, are mentioned below:

Note: – In view of the request from different parts of the state, the payment option (State Bank Collect) has been enabled upto 9th May, 2017. Due to the time constraint, it is preferred that the payment be made Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking and other online options.
Assam CEE 2017 Application Form
The candidates interested in studying engineering and technology from an institute in Assam will have to submit application form of Assam CEE 2017. The forms is available online from April 20 to May 05, 2017.
To submit the form, candidates will have to remit application fee of Rs. 600. The fee can only be submitted online, from SBI Bank Collection, through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. Once the form and fee is submitted, candidates will be allocated Application Number. The number should be secured properly, as it will be required in later stages to access Assam CEE Login.
Assam CEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria should be ensured by the candidates before applying. Such is because the ineligible candidates are not granted admission and application fee is non-refundable. The eligibility norms to be fulfilled by the candidates are:
Residency – Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam, who is also citizen of India.
Age Limit – The age of the applicant must fall between age bracket of 17 to 21 years, as on August 01, 2017. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST category relaxation of 3 years will be provided and for those with B.Sc background the upper age limit is 22 years.
Education Qualification – The candidates must have passed qualifying examination, without grace marks, in one attempt. The core subjects of candidates in qualifying marks should be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The aggregate marks of candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be above 50%.
Fitness – Candidates should be mentally and physically fit.
Assam CEE 2017 Reservation of Seats
The seat reservation in the state will be done as:
- PH – 3%
- SC – 7%
- ST (Hills) – 5%
- ST (Plains) – 10%
- OBC – As per Govt norms – 1 seat in each college
- Son, and Daughter of Ex-Serviceman – 1 seat in each college
- Tea garden labour community (TGLC) – 1 seat in each college
Ex-tea garden labour community (Ex TGLC) – 1 seat in each college
- NCC/Sportsman/Moran or Motak Community – 1 seat in each college
Assam CEE 2017 Syllabus
The syllabus of Assam CEE is the same as JEE Main, i.e. CBSE NCERT Syllabus. Hence, the candidate are advised to thoroughly go through the class 11th and 12th class books for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The candidates can also prepare from NCERT solved paper, previous year question papers, sample papers, or mock test series.

Assam CEE 2017 Exam Pattern
Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) will be a three (3) hours paper which will be held in pen and paper mode. There will be total 120 questions in the examination, which will be of 4 marks each.

Assam CEE 2017 Admit Card
The successfully registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from May 25, 2017. The issuance will only be done online. The candidates will be able to download it by following the process below:

The candidates should note that without the admit card they will not be allowed to attain permission to take the exam. Also, the details mentioned on it should be correct. Else, the candidature will be harmed.

Assam CEE 2017 Result
The result of Assam CEE 2017 will be announced online, on the official website. It will disclose the score and the rank secured by the candidates. If there is a draw while rank calculation then the following method will be used:
- Marks in PCM (Qualifying Exam) will be considered .
- Tie still prevails then the total marks in PCME will be considered.
- Issue still prevails then draw of lot will be done by the Chairman of Selection Committee.
