JENPARH Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
B.Sc. Nursing: Only female candidates are eligible. The candidate should have passed in the year 2017 or earlier or appeared in the year 2017 from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board such as AISSCE/CBSE/CSE/SSCE/HSCE OR other equivalent Board. She has to pass in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) individually and also pass in theory and practical separately (Not taken together). Furthermore, not only pass marks in individual subjects & theory & practical, she must have 45% marks (For General, OBC candidates) and 40% (for SC, ST candidates) in aggregate. Students appearing in 10+2 examination in science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45 % marks are also eligible. Student shall be medically fit.
B.P.T.: The candidate should have passed in the year 2017 or earlier or appeared in the year 2017 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. The candidate must have subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5 th subject. For admission, the candidate must have Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
B.A.S.L.P (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology): The candidate should have passed in the year 2017 or earlier or appeared in the year 2017 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. The candidate must have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Mathematics/ Computer science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology.
Important information to candidates regarding eligibility
WBJEEB do neither verify the information provided by the candidate during online application nor verify any certificate of date of birth, domicile, income, reservation category, academic qualification etc. for deciding the eligibility of the candidate. Admit cards issued only on the basis of the information provided by the candidate. Also there is no scope of changing/correcting any information after the last date of online application.
All verifications are done during counselling/admission by concerned authorities and finally by the concerned university, where registration will be done. If at any stage after examination it is found on scrutiny that the applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature shall be treated as cancelled even if he/she secured a Merit Rank in the JENPAUH-2017.
Hence securing a Rank in the JENPAUH-2017 does not constitute a right/guarantee in favour of a candidate for his/her claim for admission who ultimately fails to comply the specified norms and standards.
Age: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2017.
JENPARH Admit Card 2017
Admit cards will be issued on the official website of the WBJEE. Candidate has to carry to the examination centre a printed hard copy of the admit card along with a photograph identical with the one uploaded earlier.
The test will consist of two papers namely a) Physics & Chemistry (full marks 100) and b) Biological Sciences (full marks 100). Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for each paper is 2 hours. The questions will be in both English and Bengali language.

- Only one option is correct.
- Correct response will yield 2 (two) mark.
- Incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.
- For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks
- No response will yield zero mark.
Syllabus : The tests will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).

WBJEE JENPARH Result 2017
Result of JENPARH – 2017 will be declared by board as per the schedule.The total number of candidates to be merit listed will be decided by appropriate authority.
Ranking Methodology & Rules For Tie-Breaking
WBJEEB will publish a merit rank list based on the candidates’ total score in the entrance test.

- More positive marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together
- More positive marks in Biology and Physics taken together
- Less negative marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together
- Less negative marks in Biology and Physics taken together
- If tie exists still thereafter, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
During generation of the merit list, if after applying the 5 rules stated above there are still ties, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
