CFA 2018 – CFA stands for Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). CFA Institute offers programmes like CFA, CIPM, Investment Foundations Program etc. The admissions to these programs are decided by conducting entrance examinations. The CFA Program includes a series of three exams Levels- I, II, and III. CFA exam is held in December and June. CFA December 2018 Level 1
The CFA December 2018 for Level I Exam will be conduct on December 01, 2018. The applications are now closed. Candidates can expect 240 MCQs divided into two sessions. Both sessions are usually of 3 hours and mandatory for candidates. Each session will have 120 questions each. There shall be no negative marking. CFA 2018 Test Center Change
The test center change facility is available right now. The candidates who are not satisfied with their centre choice can submit a request to change it. If seats are available in the test center, then CFA will change the center. Else, candidate will have to appear for the exam in the venue mentioned in the admit card. The facility to submit center choice is only open until 12:00 pm EST.
CFA 2018 Admit Card / Admission Ticket
The admit card, also known as admission ticket, is now available. The candidates can check and download it from the link above. In order to download the admit card of CFA 2018, the candidates have to enter the following details:
- E-mail id
The candidates will have to produce the admission ticket on the exam date. Along with it, the candidates will also have to carry an unexpired international travel passport. It is important to make sure that the admit card carried is printed on a clean A-4 sheet and nothing s written on it. Most importantly, the candidates should check all the details on the admit card. The crucial details to be checked are as follows:
- Name on the admit card (should be the same as that in the CFA institute account).
- CFA Institute ID Number.
- Last 4 characters of your passport number.
- Passport expiration date.
- The name, date, and location of the test center where you are assigned to take the exam
CFA Level 1 Exam Pattern 2018
The Level I exam will consist of 240 multiple choice questions, divided among two 3-hour sessions. Candidates must attend both sessions. Level I is basically meant to test a candidate’s knowledge of the ethical and professional standards. The question paper consists of questions based on conceptual knowledge and comprehension focused on investment tools.
- Morning session (3 hours)- 120 MCQs
- Afternoon session (3 hours)- 120 MCQs
On an average, candidates should spend around 90 seconds for each multiple choice question. There will be NO NEGATIVE MARKING for incorrect answers.

CFA 2018 Result
After the exam is conducted successfully, the result of CFA Level I will be declared on the login account of the candidate. The result declaration is scheduled to be announced in January 2019. The exam result will be announced on the official website i.e., www.cfainstitute.org. Exam results and topic area wise performance details of the candidates will be available online for a period of 1 year after the exam date.

In order to apply, the candidates needed to create an account. The first step was to provide a valid email id. After that, a form appeared on the computer screen containing spaces for the details such as Name- first name/ last name, Email id- pre-filled, choosing a password and entering security question. If details were filled correctly, then the account was created within 5 seconds.
