OJEE 2027: Exam Date, Application, Eligibility

OJEE 2027 (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) is the state entrance test run by the OJEE Committee, Odisha, for admission to B.Pharm, lateral entry B.Tech and B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, Integrated MBA, nursing and other courses in Odisha. It is not notified yet. Forms are expected from January 2027 and the computer-based test in May 2027.

Latest (4 October 2026): OJEE 2026 pharmacy counselling: round 3 (final) seats were allotted on 1 and 2 October 2026, with physical reporting up to 10 October 2026. OJEE 2027 is not notified yet.

The OJEE Committee has not announced OJEE 2027 dates yet, so the dates below are expected months. In 2026 the brochure came out on 28 January, the exam ran from 4 to 10 May and ranks followed in June, so 2027 should follow a similar calendar.

How to Apply for OJEE 2027

You apply for OJEE 2027 online at ojee.nic.in once the information brochure is released; there is no offline form. One candidate can submit only one application, so pick every course you want to sit for in that single form.

Read the OJEE 2027 information brochure on ojee.nic.in and check the eligibility for each course you want.
Register on the online application portal and note your application number and password.
Choose your application group (10+2, diploma, nursing, graduation or B.Tech/B.Pharm/MCA/M.Sc) and the course or courses for the test.
Fill in personal, academic, category and domicile details.
Upload your passport-size photograph and signature.
Pick three exam cities in order of preference.
Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking.
Submit the form and keep the printed confirmation page and payment proof.

Bank transaction charges are extra and the fee is not refunded. After you submit, you cannot add or change a course, so check your choices before paying. In 2026 a short correction window opened right after the last date.

Who can apply for OJEE 2027?

Eligibility depends on the course, and both Odisha and outside-state candidates can apply. OJEE does not hold an entrance test for regular B.Tech, B.Arch or B.Plan: those seats go on JEE Main rank, and MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS seats go on NEET UG, with the OJEE Committee running the counselling.

Outside-state candidates cannot take seats in government colleges for engineering, MBA, MCA or lateral entry courses, but can join private colleges. Reservation (8% SC and 12% ST, plus PwD, women and tuition fee waiver quotas) applies only to Odisha natives with a nativity certificate.

What is the OJEE 2027 exam pattern?

OJEE is a computer-based test in English with four-option multiple-choice questions, and each course has its own paper. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark; the nursing papers carry 1 mark per question with no negative marking.

Do I need OJEE for B.Tech admission in Odisha?

No. B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan seats in Odisha are filled on JEE Main rank through OJEE counselling. Students without a JEE Main rank can take the B.Tech paper in the 2nd/Special OJEE, which is held in July for seats left after the first phase.

What is the 2nd/Special OJEE?

It is a second test held in July for vacant seats left after first-phase counselling. In 2026 it covered B.Tech, LE B.Tech, B.Pharm, Basic B.Sc Nursing, MBA and MCA, and was held from 13 to 15 July. Candidates who already have an OJEE or JEE Main rank need not take it.

Can I apply for more than one course in OJEE 2027?

Yes. Select all the courses you are eligible for in one application. In 2026 the first course cost Rs 1,000 and each extra course Rs 500. You cannot add a course after submitting the form.

Where are the OJEE exam centres?

In 2026 the test was held in 30 cities across Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Sambalpur and Rourkela, and in Ranchi, Patna and Kolkata outside the state. You choose three cities in the form.

Is there a qualifying mark in OJEE?

There is no qualifying mark for the non-nursing courses, but you must attempt at least one question from every section to get a rank. Basic B.Sc Nursing has a minimum percentile: 50th for General and 40th for SC, ST, OBC and SEBC candidates.
