There is no Rajasthan PMET 2026 syllabus, because the University of Rajasthan is not holding a written test for M.Ed. admission in 2026. Instead it prepares a merit list from candidates’ marks under the PMET rules and allots colleges through counselling. Applications are open at uniofraj.org until 10 October 2026.

Is there a PMET 2026 syllabus or exam pattern?
No. Rule 3 of the PMET 2026 general guidelines says there will be no written test for admission in Pre M.Ed. Pravesh Prakriya 2026, so no syllabus, paper or marking scheme is set.
In 2025 PMET was a written entrance test held on 22 June 2025. Old syllabus PDFs from that test do not apply to 2026 admission.
What decides your rank in PMET 2026?
Your rank comes from the merit list that the University of Rajasthan prepares from candidates’ marks under the PMET rules.
- You need at least 55% in B.Ed., Shiksha Shastri, B.A.-B.Ed., B.Sc.-B.Ed. or B.El.Ed., or in D.El.Ed. with graduation (50% for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, disabled, widowed and divorced women candidates).
- If marks are tied, higher marks in the B.Ed. (education graduate) exam break the tie, and then the older candidate ranks higher.
- Seats then follow the reservation rules and your college choices at counselling.
What should you keep ready instead of studying a syllabus?
Keep your marksheets and certificates ready, because they decide both your eligibility and your merit.
- Attested photocopies of all marksheets of the qualifying exam.
- Rajasthan domicile certificate.
- A fresh category certificate from the District Magistrate, SDM or Tehsildar, if you claim reservation.
- Widow, divorce or disability certificate, if it applies to you.
- Three printed copies of your submitted application form and fee receipt.
