Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT) is an entrance examination that is conducted every year by the SOA University. The university has four campuses that provide UG, PG and Diploma courses to candiadtes. SAAT

SAAT entrance examination is conducted in 35 cities in India. All programs offered by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University except medical UG and PG are offered through SAAT exam. The entrance exam is conducted in both online and offline mode for candidates at different centers on different dates.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Maths
  • Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics, Technical Vocational subject.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm

  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology (PCM or PCB).

Eligibility Criteria for BHMCT

  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)

  • Lower age limit: 17 years as on 31 Dec 2018.
  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)

  •  Qualification: Candidate should qualify the GNM exam and registered with the State Nursing Council.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA

  • Qualification: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard from the recognized board.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Mathematics

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. in Agriculture

  • Lower age limit: 17 years as on 31 Dec 2018.
  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 50% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/PH: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.

Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB and BBA LLB

  • General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 42% aggregate in the 12th examination.
  • SC/ST/PH: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.

Syllabus for SAAT

Syllabus helps the candidate for identifying the topics to be prepared for the examination. For the preparation of the examination, the candidate needs to go through the syllabus to get a very general idea about the syllabus and the topics they need to cover for the entrance examination. Candidates can get the help to cover all the topics from where the questions will be asked in the examination. Sometimes the questions asked in the entrance examination covers the detailed area of a topic but sometimes it only covers the briefs. So for such case candidates can look up the syllabus for help.

SAAT Admission Process

In order to take admission in SOA Univerity candidates will have to go through a complete admission process. The application form has to be filled and submitted by every candidate through online mode only. After the successful submission of application form candidates will have to download the admit card from the website in order to take the exam.

As per the marks obtained by candiadtes in the results will be prepared and as per the merit list candidates will have to attend counselling.

SAAT Seat Reservation

  • Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption): 15% and 7.5% seats in all programmes are reserved respectively
  • Separate merit lists will be published for each reserved category. If eligible candidates belonging to one reserved category are not available, seats can be filled up by the candidates belonging to the general category.
  • 3% seats are reserved for physically disabled (PH) candidates.
  • 30% of seats under each category for all the programmes are reserved for women candidates.
  • There is no reservation applicable for lateral entry admissions.
