SAAT
SAAT entrance examination is conducted in national level. All programs offered by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University except medical UG and PG are offered through SAAT exam. The entrance exam is conducted in online mode for candidates at different centers on different dates.

SAAT Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Maths
- Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics, Technical Vocational subject.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- Compulsory Subjects: Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology (PCM or PCB).
Eligibility Criteria for BHMCT
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)
- Lower age limit: 17 years.
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)
- Qualification: Candidate should qualify the GNM exam and registered with the State Nursing Council.
Eligibility Criteria for BBA
- Qualification: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard from the recognized board.
- Compulsory Subjects: Mathematics
Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. in Agriculture
- Lower age limit: 17 years.
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 50% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/PH: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.
Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB and BBA LLB
- General: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 45% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- OBC: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 42% aggregate in the 12th examination.
- SC/ST/PH: Candidate should qualify the 12th standard by scoring 40% aggregate in the 12th examination.

Syllabus helps the candidate for identifying the topics to be prepared for the examination. SAAT syllabus is prescribed by the University for all the courses against which the entrance exam is conducted. SAAT Admission Process
In order to take admission in SOA Univerity candidates will have to go through a complete admission process. The admission process is as follows:
The admission process is based on SAAT or national level entrance exam. The candidates who have national level entrance exam scores can directly apply for counselling and skip SAAT. The process of admission is shown in the chart below:

Selection process in brief is given below:
Apply: First, make sure to register to fill the online application form on the website of SOA.
Appear for the selection process: Then the candidates need to appear for SAAT. However, the candidates who apply with the scores of the national level entrance exam need not appear for SAAT.
Check selection status and appear for counselling/admission: Next, the candidates have to check their status of selection online at the official website. If selected the candidates need to appear for the counseling process and complete their admission formalities.
SAAT Seat Reservation
- Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption): 15% and 7.5% seats in all programmes are reserved respectively
- Separate merit lists will be published for each reserved category. If eligible candidates belonging to one reserved category are not available, seats can be filled up by the candidates belonging to the general category.
- 3% seats are reserved for physically disabled (PH) candidates.
- 30% of seats under each category for all the programmes are reserved for women candidates.
- There is no reservation applicable for lateral entry admissions.
