Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University is a deemed University accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SOA University grants admission to its various UG and PG courses on the basis of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT). The entrance examination of SAAT is conducted annually. SAAT Exam Dates 2018

SAAT 2018 Application Form

The details regarding the SAAT 2018 application form is given below:

  • You will be allowed to apply for the test through online mode only.
  • SAAT 2018 application form will probably be available from the 3rd week of January 2018.
  • Before filling the application form, candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the course.
  • Interested candidates will find the apply link on the official website on the scheduled dates. Candidate will have to fill all the particulars correctly.
  • There may also be requirement of uploading photograph/ signature and necessary documents.
  • The acknowledgement for the receipt of SAAT 2018 application will be intimated through e-mail or SMS.

SAAT 2018 Application Fee

Application fee will not be charged from the candidates applying for SAAT 2018. The candidates are informed that SAAT does not ask for any kind of monetary submission by the candidates in any form.

SAAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Courses Qualification Eligibility
B.Tech/Dual Degree in Engineering
  • 12th class pass/appearing with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one from:- Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Biotechnology/ Biology/ Informatics/ Statistics.
  • Must have secured at least 50% marks.
  • 12th class pass/appearing in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English.
  • Must have secured passing marks individually in the subjects.
B.Sc in Agriculture
  • 12th class pass/appearing with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCA/ PCH subjects combination.
  • Must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
  • The minimum age- 17 years and maximum age- 23 years as on 31 December 2018.
BHMCT 12th class pass/appearing with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
BBA 12th class pass/appearing in any stream.
B.Sc in Nursing (Basic 12th class pass/appearing with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
BBA.LL.B. (Hons.)
  • 12th class pass/appearing in any stream and obtained 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST).
  • Min. age0- 20 years as on 1st August 2018.
B.Tech/B.Pharm/BHMCT (LE)
  • Passed/appearing diploma in Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Hotel Management.
  • obtain at least 60% aggregate marks.
For PG Courses

  • Pass/appearing in B.Tech/B.E./AMIE/MCA/M.Sc
  • secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Passed/appearing 3-years bachelor degree
  • Secure at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Candidates must have studied Mathematics at 12th
MCA (LE) Minimum qualification is 3-years BCA, B.Sc in IT and B.Sc in Computer Science with at least 60% aggregate marks.
MBA/ MHMCT/ MHA/ MHTM Passed/appearing Undergraduate degree with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
M.Sc in Nursing
  • Minimum degree requirement is B.Sc Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) passed with at least 55% aggregate marks.
  • Candidate should have one year experience as a registered Nurse or Registered midwife.
  • Undergraduate degree pass/appearing in law or integrated law
  • Secured 50% aggregate marks.
  • Passed/appearing B.Pharm examination with at least 55% marks  (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates).

SAAT 2018 Exam Pattern

Entrance Examination will be held in Offline Mode. The question paper will have Multiple Choice Questions in English Language. Itis possible that there will be 60 questions from every subject per each hour of the examination. Total 120 questions will be asked in M.Tech exam. The question paper of B.Tech will include questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Each correct response is followed by 4 marks. Negative marking of 1 mark will be applicable for each incorrect response.

SAAT 2018 Syllabus

SAAT is conducted for various courses. Therefore, the syllabus is different for each course. The syllabus for B.Tech/DDE/B.Pharm/B.Sc Ag./B.Sc Nursing comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (Botany or Zoology) subjects. It is basically of 10+2 standard. For Engineering (LE), the questions will come from Basic Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Engineering Mechanics.

SAAT 2018 Admit Card

Candidates will need to enter their Registration ID and Mobile Number. The Hall Ticket will contain name, photograph and address of the candidate, address of the Test Centre allotted and test schedule.
