WBJEE JENPARH 2014
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam has come forward with the dates on which the JENPAUH-II has been scheduled to take place. The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to participate in the process. Any candidate having cleared 12th class in 2017 from WBCSHE is eligible to apply. You must be an indian national who is not less than 17 yrs. Old as on 31st December 2017. If you satisfy the mentioned criteria, you may apply for admission in BHMS, BAMS, BUMS and BMLT. the application has to start from 15 June 2017 and can be filed until 06 July 2017. The admit card will be issued by 07 August and the entrance exam will be held in August on 30th, 2017.

Special examination of the Biological Science

This is for information to all concerned that due to the inconvenience caused to the following 121 candidates of JENPAUH-2017, at the examination centre during the scheduled examination held on May 28, 2017 and since such inconvenience was neither due to any fault or lapse on the part of the Board nor on the part of the candidates, the WBJEEB Board has decided that a special examination of the Biological Science (Special) for those 121 candidates will be held on 16 July, 2017 (Sunday) at 12.00 noon at the same venue i.e. Sripat Singh College, Jiagunj. The admit card of JENPAUH-2017, issued earlier, will be accepted for entry into the examination center. The rules & regulations of the special examination will remain same at par with the JENPAUH-2017.

The said 121 candidates need to appear in the special examination, failing which the candidate will be considered absent in JENPAUH-2017 examination and will not be awarded any rank under any circumstance.

JENPARH II Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India.

B.H.M.S.- Bachelor of Homoeopathic, Medicine and Surgery
Educational Eligibility Criteria- the candidates must have passed 12th class in 2017 from WBCSHE or equivalent degree which includes English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Vernacular or any other 5 subjects. Candidate must have individually pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.A.M.S.- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
Educational Eligibility Criteria- the candidates must have passed 12th class in 2017 from WBCSHE or equivalent degree which includes English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Vernacular or any other 5 subjects. Candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidate must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

B.U.M.S.- Bachelor of Unani MEdicine and Surgery
Educational Eligibility Criteria- the candidates must have passed 12th class in 2017 from WBCSHE or equivalent degree which includes English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Vernacular or any other 5 subjects. Candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidate must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

B.M.L.T.- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technician
Educational Eligibility Criteria- the candidates must have passed 12th class in 2017 from WBCSHE or equivalent degree which includes English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Vernacular or any other 5 subjects. Candidate must have individually pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Apart from the educational criteria mentioned above, candidates shall also be required to pass the following criteria:-
Nationality- candidate must be an Indian National
Age criteria- the candidate must be more than 17 years old as on 31 December 2017

JENPARH II Admit Card 2017

Hall ticket for the qualifying examination is scheduled to be issued by 07 August 2017 in online mode. It shall be accessible by candidate using their login credentials. However, when you visit the website at wbjeeb.in to download the admit card, you will notice a link already embedded there, but it is not active as of now. No duplicate admit card will be generated.Take multiple prints beforehand

Exam Pattern

The question paper will have two papers:

  • Physics and Chemistry- 100 marks
  • Biology- 100 marks

Each paper will have 50 questions in each paper of Multiple choice in type. You shall have 4 options in front of you, of which only 1 response will be right. You will get 4 hours total to complete the task. Darken the responses with Blue/Black ball point pen.

Syllabus: Question paper will have questions from subjects taught in 11 and 12th of Higher Standard Secondary Examination under West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE).

Scoring Methodology

As already mentioned earlier, that the question paper have 4 alternatives out which only 1 shall be correct. You need to choose the best appropriate or the correct response. For every correct answer, exam taker gets 2 marks and if you mark incorrect response, penalty of 25% is asserted. Also marking more than 1 answer for 1 question will be recorded as incorrect answer.

Syllabus : The tests will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).


WBJEE JENPARH II Result 2017

RThe result declaration date is tentatively available in the schedule. It may be announced earlier than the pre-defined dates or postponed till further notification. As of now, the official notification says that the result will be declared by 30 August 2017. It can be viewed and printed from wbjeeb.in official website

Ranking Methodology & Rules For Tie-Breaking

The name will appear in the style of General Merit List (GMR) which shall be applicable for sequencing GMR and seat allotment. There shall be separate merit list for candidate belonging to category such as- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD. It shall contain the names in descending order based on the marks in qualifying examination. In case there is a tie between two or more people contesting for the same rank, the following methodology will be applied as follows:-

(i) less negative marks in all the subject taken together (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
(ii) more plus marks in Chemistry and Biology taken together
(iii) more positive marks in Physics and Biology
(iv) less negative marks in Chemistry and Biology
(v) less negative marks in Physics and Biology
(vi) date of birth
