How to Calculate Score Using GATE 2020 CE Answer Key by The GATE Academy
The candidates can check below how they can use the answer key of GATE 2020 to calculate their expected score in the exam:
Step 1: Cross check the answers in the key with than selected in the exam.
Step 2: Now the candidates have to add 1 marks / 2 mark as per the marking scheme of the question if the answer is right.
Step 3: If the answer is wrong then deduct -1/3 marks for 1 marks question and -2/3 for the 2 marks questions.
Step 4: After steps 2 and 3, count the total marks that you get. This is your expected score in the exam. Note that the answer key above is memory based. Thus, the candidates must not reach into any conclusions after calculating their scores using it.
When Will GATE 2020 Official Answer Key and Question Paper Release?
IIT Delhi will be releasing GATE 2020 answer key and question paper in pdf format soon after the exam for all shifts and days are over. However, before they release the answer key and question paper, GATE response sheet of the candidates will be also uploaded. To download the same, candidates have to use their enrollment id and password in GOAPS.
Soon after the response sheet is out, IIT Delhi will upload the answer key and question paper for all the 25 GATE papers.
GATE 2020 Result
The result of GATE 2020 will be out on March 16, 2020. The result is uploaded in the form of a scorecard. To download and check the result candidates have to login on GOAPS. The score of GATE 2020 will be valid for 3 years. Many PSUs also use GATE score for recruitment.
