HPCET Admit Card 2026 (Released 5 May) – Download Hall Ticket at himtu.ac.in

HPCET Admit Card 2026 was released by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) on 5 May 2026 at himtu.ac.in. Candidates who filled the application form for HPCET 2026 downloaded the hall ticket by logging in with their User ID and Password. The HPCET Admit Card 2026 was a mandatory document at the examination centre on 10 May 2026 and contained the candidate’s photograph, signature, roll number, exam centre address, exam date, reporting time, and important instructions. With the exam now over, candidates are advised to retain their hall ticket along with the application form copy for counselling and admission verification.

HPCET Admit Card 2026

The HPCET Admit Card 2026 is the official hall ticket issued by HPTU to every candidate who successfully submitted the application form for the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test. The admit card served two key purposes: (1) it informed the candidate of the allotted examination centre, date, and reporting time for HPCET 2026; and (2) it was a mandatory document to be presented at the exam centre for entry to the examination hall along with a valid government-issued photo identity proof.

How to Download the Hall Ticket

HPTU released the HPCET 2026 admit card in online mode only. The step-by-step procedure to download the hall ticket from himtu.ac.in is as follows.

  1. Visit the official website of HPTU at himtu.ac.in.
  2. Locate the “Click Here to Download the HPCET 2026 Admit Card” link on the home page.
  3. Click on the link to open the candidate login portal.
  4. Enter your User ID (Form Number / Application Number) and Password generated at registration, along with the displayed captcha.
  5. Click on the “Login” / “Submit” button to access the candidate dashboard.
  6. The HPCET 2026 hall ticket will appear on the screen with all your exam details.
  7. Verify all details (name, photo, roll number, exam centre, date, time) for accuracy.
  8. Download the admit card PDF and take a clear printout for use on the exam day.

Details on the HPCET 2026 Hall Ticket

The HPCET Admit Card 2026 issued by HPTU contained the following information:

  • Candidate’s full name as on Class 10 mark sheet
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Roll number and application/form number
  • Course applied for and paper code
  • Allotted examination centre with full address
  • Exam date (10 May 2026) and reporting time
  • Date of birth, category, and gender
  • Father’s/Mother’s name
  • Important do’s and don’ts and exam day instructions
  • Space for candidate’s signature in the presence of the invigilator

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

Along with the printed HPCET Admit Card 2026, candidates were required to carry the following to the examination centre on 10 May 2026.

  • Printed copy of the HPCET 2026 admit card (preferably on A4 sheet)
  • One original valid government-issued photo identity card – Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs (same as uploaded in the application form)
  • Blue/black ball-point pens for marking the OMR sheet
  • PwD certificate (if applicable) and any other document specified by HPTU

Exam Day Guidelines

  • Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
  • Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  • Read all instructions on the OMR sheet and question booklet carefully before attempting the paper.
  • Use only blue/black ball-point pen for marking responses on the OMR sheet.
  • Do not tamper with or fold the OMR sheet; any damage may lead to rejection of the response sheet.
  • Hand over the OMR sheet to the invigilator before leaving the hall.

Discrepancy in Admit Card

If any candidate noticed a discrepancy in the personal details, photograph, or signature on the HPCET Admit Card 2026, they were advised to immediately contact the HPTU HPCET helpline at 01972-226912 / 01972-226908 / 01972-226910 / 01972-226999 or email the conducting body with supporting documents. Corrections were processed by HPTU before the exam to ensure smooth entry to the examination hall.
