The AP EdCET 2027 syllabus has three parts: General English (Part A), General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude (Part B), and one methodology subject at degree level (Part C). APSCHE has not released the 2027 syllabus yet; the topics below are from the 2026 instruction booklet and are expected to stay the same.
Latest (5 October 2026): AP EdCET 2026 counselling registration for B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education opened on 5 October 2026 on cap.apcfss.in and runs to 12 October; seat allotment is scheduled for 23 October 2026. The AP EdCET 2027 notification is expected in February 2027.

What is in AP EdCET Part A and Part B?
Parts A and B are common to every candidate and carry 50 of the 150 marks.

What is the AP EdCET Part C methodology syllabus?
Part C carries 100 marks and follows the degree (CBCS) syllabus of the methodology you choose. These are the main units in the 2026 syllabus.

What is the AP EdCET 2027 exam pattern?
AP EdCET is a 2-hour computer-based test of 150 questions, one mark each, with no negative marking.

The paper is in English and Telugu, except the English methodology. Candidates who choose Urdu medium get an English and Urdu paper.

The full syllabus is printed in the instruction booklet and also released as a separate PDF on the official website. The 2026 versions are the latest until the 2027 notification is out.

How should I prepare for the AP EdCET syllabus?
- Spend most of your time on Part C. It carries 100 of the 150 marks and is set at degree level, so revise from your degree textbooks.
- For Part A, practise grammar, vocabulary and comprehension passages every day.
- For Part B, read current affairs regularly and revise Indian history, geography, polity and economy basics.
- Solve the AP EdCET previous year question papers for your methodology in a 2-hour sitting.
