
Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) course is for those candidates who aim to enhance their learning on investment performance and risk evaluation. It covers 30% ethical and professional standards and 70% performance evaluation. To get certificated, the candidates will have to clear Level 1 and 2 exams. How to Register for CIPM 2018
The candidates can register by accessing the link above. Then the candidates will have to submit a functional e-mail id. To create an account, the candidates will have to submit:
- Given Name (Name)
- Family Name (Surname)
- Create Password
- Security Questions
Password Specification – The password will only be accepted if it has 8 to 30 characters, including 1 capital letter, 1 lower case, and 1 number. Also, it must not contain the given name of the candidates.
Next, the candidates will have to submit Address Details, Employment Status, Professional Conduct Inquiry, Personal Data Consent, Candidates Agreement, and Exam Preparation Provided Details. After submitting the details the candidates will have to review the details and make the final submit.

How to Reschedule CIPM 2018
Pearson VUE will allow candidates to reschedule the exam after 24 hours from the former attempt. It is to be rescheduled for another time and place but within the same exam window. The candidates will not be able to reschedule the examination if they did not appear for it on the due date.
It should be noted that if the candidates will reschedule or cancel the appointment within the 7 days from the original date then they will be required to pay US$ 25 fee, effective from January 01, 2018.

CIPM 2018 Exam Details
The details about the Level 1 and Level 2 of the examination are as follows:
Level I for Formerly Principles: The focus of this level is to build a conceptual foundation of performance measurement, appraisal, and attribution. The final exam pattern of the final exam will be as follows:
- Candidates will have 180 minutes to solve the paper.
- There will be 100 multiple choice questions.
- Each question will have three option but only one will be valid.
- During the examination, no formula will be provided to the candidates. They need to know it by hard.
Level II for formerly Expert: During this Level exam the candidates will be assessed on the basis of performance evaluation and presentation, application of appropriate tools, and inputs in the more complex situation. The pattern of the examination is as below:
- Duration of the exam will be 180 minutes.
- There will be 80 item set questions.
- Out of these 20 will be scenarios in which there will be four multiple choice questions. There will be three answer choices for each.
- Candidates must know all the formulas, as not will be shared at the exam hall.
Preparation for CIPM
Especially for the Indian candidates, CIPM is a pretty costly affair. Hence, the shots are not a very valid option. The candidates should prepare for the exam keeping in mind the following factors.
- As per ‘CFA Successful CIPM candidates spent an average of 128 hours preparing for the exam’.
