How Is the WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Result Compiled?
The WBJEE 2019 Result is compiled on the basis of the answers that the candidates marks in the exam as right or wrong. As per the marking scheme of the exam the candidates total score is calculated and presented in the scoreboard. The marking scheme of the exam says that the candidates get 2 marks for correct answers and 0.25 marks is deducted against each of the wrong answers.
The marks are are calculated as per the marking scheme. The candidates can check the same on their scorecard. The ranks of the candidates in the exam is also based on their scores in the exam. The candidates with most marks get the highest ranks and so on. In case to 2 or more candidates with equal marks a tie breaking process is used.
WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Tie Breaking Criteria
If two or more candidates score the same marks then a tiebreaker criteria among the students is used. The merit rank is decided by keeping the following pointers listed below.
- Candidates with less negative marking in Biology, Physics, Chemistry taken together are placed at a better rank.
- The candidates with more positive marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together are allotted a higher rank.
- Entrants securing more positive marks in Biology and Physics taken together are preferred over the one who scores fewer marks.
- If a candidate has less negative marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together are allotted a better rank.
- Candidates with less negative marks in Biology and Physics taken together are placed higher in the merit rank.
- If a tie still persists then, candidates who will be of older age are given preference over the other one.
WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Merit Rank
The WBJEE releases the JENPAUH merit rank on the basis of total marks secured by the candidates. The list is published in the name of ‘GMR’ (General Merit Rank). A separate merit list is released category wise for all the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The ranks in the merit list is allotted to the candidates in the descending order of marks scored by them in the examination. Another list with the name of ‘GMR-N’ is released for female candidates who are appearing for the BSc – Nursing examination.
Duplicate WBJEE JENPAUH 2019 Rank Card?
Rank cards are issued to all the candidates who appear for the exam. However, all the candidates are not placed in the merit list. Such candidates are not eligible for the counselling and admission rounds.
Candidates are advised that they should retain their rank cards in good condition till the time admission procedure gets over. If any candidate requires a rank card after the counselling process then they can obtain the same by applying to the board and paying the processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a Bank Draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is not responsible for conducting counselling under JENPAUH 2019. Neither, it is responsible for admission purposes for all the courses offered under this national level exam. But candidates can note the counselling conducting bodies for the various courses, under JENPAUH 2019. And can look/contact these authorities for more counselling related information.

WBJEEB JENPAUH 2019 is a state level examination, conducted for admission of candidates in B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T (Bachelor of Physiotherapy), B.M.L.T., B.Sc. (CCT), B.Sc. (OTT), B.Sc. (PT), B.Sc. (PA) and B.A.S.L.P. (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology). It is held in offline mode annually. The candidates are asked 100 questions in the exam in a duration of 2 hours.
