Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened registrations for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET 2020, today. The online application form has been launched at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. For admission to professional courses engineering, architecture, yoga and naturopathy, veterinary, farm science, b.pharma, interested and eligible candidates can apply online until March 02, 2020. After which, the download of admit card begins from April 10, 2020. The entrance exam is due to be held on April 22, 23, and 24, 2020.

Regarding the new website: Candidates are widely looking for the website kea.kar.nic.in. However the website is now redirected officially to the new website of Karnataka Examinations Authority, that is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. To apply, go to the said site, and click the link “CET-2020 – Online Application Link “
Only those candidates can sit for the examination, who submit KCET application form in prescribed format. Hence, we have here provided list of important thing which you should know prior to filling the application form.
Important Things To Keep In Mind While Filling Application Form of Karnataka CET 2020
#1. Are you eligible? – KEA has only invited eligible candidates to apply for the examination. Only those candidates are eligible who are citizen of India and have passed 2nd PUC in relevant subject. Check eligibility before applying.
#2. Download sample application form: Karnataka Examinations Authority also releases the sample application form on the official website. Go through the sample application form and see what details have to be mentioned and then, start filling the application form. Here is a sample blank application.
#3. Keep images ready: While filling the application form, candidates have to upload few scanned images. These are as mentioned below:
- student’s photograph
- signature of the student
- left – thumb impression of the students
- parent’s signature or their left – thumb impression

#4. Specifications for images: Mere images are not enough, you must have these in correct format, which is as follows:

- Class 10 and 12 mark sheet for reference
- Aadhar card
- Income Certificate
- Caste certificate
- Scanned photograph
- Scanned signature
- Scanned image of left thumb impression
#6 Application fee and the modes to pay it: The application fee for KCET 2020 can be paid through
- E-challan
- NEFT / RTGS / IMPS Payments from any Bank Account to ICICI Bank.
- NEFT / RTGS / IMPS payments from any bank account to Indian Bank.

#7. Apply before the end date: The candidates who are seeking admission through KCET must submit the application form before its last date. Last date to apply for KCET 2020 is March 02, 2020. So, in short be fast enough to register for KCET before the lapse of the deadline. The payment for the form can be done up till March 06, 2020. After that you can download KCET admit card.
