IIM Nagpur PGP Selection Criteria 2020 #2 – Selection of the Candidates for PI/WAT process
Candidates qualifying CAT 2020 cutoff, receive email/communication from IIM Nagpur for PI/WAT. In this stage candidates are shortlistsed based on the followings:
CAT Score (CAT): The CAT Score for each candidate is computed as the ratio of the total CAT score obtained by the candidate to the maximum total CAT score and scaled between 0-10. The formula used for this is given below:
CAT Score= (Total CAT score obtained by the candidate/Maximum total CAT score2) *10

Diversity (DI): A diversity score (DI) out of 10 is calculated for the candidate based on the candidate’s gender, and bachelor’s degree.
Lastly the total score for final admission is calculated by adding up all the criteria, this score is called the composite score (CS)
CS = 0.30 * (CAT Score) + 0.35*(PAP Score) + 0.20* (WE Score) + 0.15*(Di Score)
IIM Nagpur PGP Selection Criteria 2021 #3 – Final Selection of the Candidates
Te final selection of the candidates is based on the below given criteria:
- Score of CAT
- Score of PI and WAT
- Score of PAP
- Score of WE
The formual used to calculate the Final Score (FS) for admission offer is as follows:
FS = 0.40* (PI Score) + 0.10*(WAT Score) + 0.15* (CAT Score) + 0.15 * (PAP Score) + 0.20 * (WE Score)
