IIM Shillong Selection Criteria 2020 – Selection in IIM Shillong for Post Graduate Program in Management is based on CAT scores. Overseas candidates can, however, apply via CAT or GMAT score too. The admission in IIM Shillong in PGP course is done in 2 phases. Phase 1 is shortlisting of students based on CAT scores for group discussion and personal interview. Phase 2 is preparing final merit list for admission based on the score in GD, score in PI and overall CAT absolute score. IIM Shillong (IIMS) Selection Criteria 2020
To be eligible for admission in IIM Shillong first the candidates have to qualify the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by one of the IIMs every year. For the 2020-22 session the following minimum percentile is needed in CAT 2019:

Minimum marks needed in class 10 and 12 for admission in IIM Shillong PGP course
To take admission in IIM Shillong candidates must have the following minimum percentage in class 10 and class 12:

The candidates get a call from IIM Shillong for GD and PI if they have the minimum marks stated above in CAT, class 10 and class 12. Once they get a call the students have to appear for PI and GD.

Phase 2 of admission in IIM Shillong PGP course
The candidates are selected in the final admission list based on the below factors:
- CAT absolute score
- marks in GD
- marks in PI
Candidates are ranked in the list based on the decreasing order of their combined scores of GD, PI and CAT absolute score.
Important factors in IIM Shillong Selection Criteria
Here are some of the important factors that the students have to take acre of while taking admisison in IIM Shillong PGP course:
- Candidates have to submit the proof of their graduation completion by December 31, 2020.
- The shortlisted candidates can check the merit list on the official website of IIM Shillong itself and they shall be emailed on the emial if that they have used for CAT 2019 registration.
- To appear in the interview rounds, the shorlisted candidates have to fill in the interview form and upload on the website of IIM Shillong.
- Only the candidates shortlisted for GP and PI after filling the interview form are sent GD and PI call letters.
