IIM Jammu has announced the selection criteria for admission 2019-2020. Candidates need to clear a minimum CAT 2018 cut off to be eligible for IIM Jammu Admission 2019. Indian Institute of Management Jammu will first generate a merit list. IIM Jammu Selection Criteria for PGP 2019-20 batch

Stage 1- Shortlisting based on CAT-2018 percentiles

Candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-1 on the basis of CAT 2018 percentiles as mentioned below:

Stage 2- Expression of Interest

Candidates who meet the percentile criteria mentioned in Stage 1, will be asked to fill an expression of interest (EOI) to be further considered for the admission process. Candidates will also be informed about the EOI provision through SMS sent to their registered mobile number. Candidates will be offered admission in the order of the merit list based on this composite score.

Stage 3 -Generation of Merit List for Final Selection

Only those candidates who clear Stage-1 percentile cut-offs and who submit EOI as mentioned in Stage-2 will be considered for calculation of their composite score in Stage-3 on the basis of the below-described factors.

The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the score obtained after the addition of the following:

  • CAT Score: 0.4* Absolute CAT Percentile
  • Personal Appearance (WAT & PI) : 30 Marks
  • Profile: 30 Marks

The above three scores shall be added and applied to prepare the final merit list.

2.1 CAT Score (40%)

IIM Jammu will apply CAT 2018 scores.

2.2 Personal Appearance (30)

The following weightage will be considered by IIM Jammu:

  • Written Ability Test (WAT): 10
  • Personal Interview (PI): 20

2.3 Profile (30 Marks)

The following weightage will be considered by IIM Jammu:

  • Academic Profile: 15
  • Work Experience: 5
  • Diversity: 10

2.3.1 Academic Profile (15 Marks)

  • 10th Standard: 5
  • 12th Standard: 5
  • Graduation: 5

4. Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

A candidate who is receiving an admission offer from IIM Jammu and accepting the same within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance, an Offer Acceptance amount of Rs.50,000/-. If a candidate subsequently is willing to withdraw the offer within the withdrawal date specified by the Institute, Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after the deduction of Rs. 1,000 as processing fee. If a candidate applies for withdrawal after the date specified by the Institute, no refund will be provided. If a candidate registers himself/herself for the program, his/her Offer Acceptance Amount will be adjusted against the Term I Fee. In the event of withdrawal from the Program after registration, No refund will be provided of Offer Acceptance Amount & Term Fee.

Any dispute in concern with Admissions for the MBA Batch 2019-20 would be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Jammu Only.

Final discretion on the academic category that an academic program will be classified into rests with the Admissions Committee of IIM Lucknow.

Admissions offers are likely to be made starting from the first week of June 2019.
