The North Maharashtra University is one of the upcoming universities in India, the university was established on 15th August, 1990 under the Maharashtra University Act No. XXIX of 1989 as a teaching and affiliating University. North Maharashtra University has released notification for admission to the all M.Sc. courses in the University Schools/ Departments for the academic year 2017-2018. The applicant should draw a D.D. on any Nationalized Bank or Scheduled Bank of amount Rs. 300/- in favour of “Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” before proceeding for filling Online Application Form. It is mandatory to have D.D. before proceeding for online application form submission.

North Maharashtra University has released Provisional Merit List for M.Sc 2017 admission. Candidates who have submitted their application forms within last date and are meeting all the eligibility criteria can check the Merit List from the official website by login into their account. Application Form

Candidates can fill their Application Form through official website. The direct link to fill the application form is given below.

The candidate has to take the printout of Challan generated in the online application form and pay the requisite amount in any branch of Central Bank of India. The Printout of form shall have list of documents required to be produced by the candidate for substantiating his claim made in the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate courses offered by various Schools/Affiliated Colleges of the University if he/she has secured at least 50% (or equivalent CGPA) marks at graduation (45% marks for backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC category candidates from Maharashtra State). In case of Other University candidate, preference will be given to students having principal subject at B.Sc. over B.Sc. general.

M.Sc VLSI Technology

B. E. / B. Tech. (Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications)/ M. Sc. (Electronics) [with first class or equivalent Grade]

M.Sc Environmental Science & Technology

B.E. / B. Tech. Degree, M.Sc. in Environment / Chemical / Biotech. / Biomedical / Biological / Earth Sciences/Agricultural Sciences of an appropriate branch of study or an examination accepted by N.M.U., Jalgaon

Exam Pattern

M.Sc VLSI Technology

The University will conduct written test of 80 marks for which subject wise distribution is as follows:

  • Analog Electronics – 20
  • Digital Electronics – 20
  • Microprocessors and Microcontrollers – 20
  • Semiconductor Devices – 10
  • Basic communication Electronics – 10

Personal interview: Candidates has to face personal interview of 20 marks followed by written test.

M.Sc Environmental Science & Technology

Candidates applying for M. Tech. Programme will have to appear for the written aptitude test and interview to be conducted by this University on 31/07/2017, (Monday). GATE/GPAT qualified students are eligible to seek AICTE fellowship as per the advertisement RIFD/04(02) 2014 dated 09 April 2014.
