The ACET and PET Application Form 2019 are available in online mode only. Interested candidates can fill the application from the direct link provided below.

The candidates can successfully register for ACET 2019 by simply following the instructions as given below:

  1. Click on the link given on this page to apply online for ACET 2019.
  2. Select the programme.
  3. Aspirants need to register first by providing the basic information such as Applicant’s name, Email ID and Mobile Number. On successfully creating the account, the candidate will receive a User ID and Password on their registered email id.
  4. Next, applicants need to fill in the required information such as Personal Details, Program Name to apply for, Educational Qualification Details, Contact Details, Employment Details.
  5. After entering all the details, applicants need to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph. The photograph for uploading should be of png/ gif/ jpg/ jpeg format and the file size should be not more than 2 MB.
  6. Candidate can now proceed to make payment for the application fee. The application fee is to be paid by online mode only via Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The applicants need to make payment of Rs. 2000/- (as per the last year Information Brochure) against the application fee charges.
  7. On completion of the steps given above, the applicant can submit the application form online. Also, it is advised to applicants to take a print out of the completed application form and keep it to themselves for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for Ajeenkya DY Patil University ACET and PET 2019

Students before proceeding to apply online must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions as given by Ajeenkya DY Patil University. The eligibility criteria to appear of ACET and PET 2019 is as follows:

Ph.D. Program

The Minimum eligibility criteria required for admission to the Ph.D. program is a degree in any one of the areas given below:

  • Master of Technology or Engineering
  • Master of Architecture
  • Master in Business Administration
  • Master in Media & Communication
  • One/Two year of LLM programme after either at least 5 years of integrated
  • LLB degree after l0+2 examination or 3 years LLB degree after 10+2+3 exam
  • Master in Design

  • A degree equivalent to any of the above

The candidates seeking admission to the ADYPU Ph. D. program shall have to possess requisite grades as mentioned – A Master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Ajeenkya DY Patil University ACET and PET 2019 Admit Card

The Admit card for Ajeenkya ACET and PET 2019 will be issued online for only those candidates who will successfully register for the exam. The E-hall ticket or admit card would be generated as soon as students complete the registration process and pay the registration fee. The Admit Card will consist of the personal details of the candidate as well as basic information about the exam, such date, timings and complete address of the test center. Also, the applicants need to register their name at the registration counter at the center where their Admit Card will be authenticated.

Exam Pattern

for PET 2019

Candidate shall be admitted to Ph. D. programme by a two-stage process through:

  • PET – 2019 which shall be a qualifying test, will be of 50 marks each(Paper I and Paper II)
  • Presentation by the candidate, which shall be a qualifying test, will be of 100 marks.
  • Personal interview of candidates qualifying in Entrance Test/ Candidates exempted from Entrance Examination, to be conducted by the respective Recognized Research Centre

Ajeenkya DY Patil University ACET and PET 2019 Result

After the entrance exam is done, the ADYPU will publish the result online at its official website. The list of shortlisted candidates for the Postgraduate Programs/ Design – UG programs on the basis of the merit in the entrance exam will be prepared. Also, the University will publish a merit list will be displayed on the ADYPU official website after 5 working days from the date of the Entrance Test. The ACET Merit List 2019 consists of only roll numbers of the candidates.

After the declaration of result, the shortlisted candidates must attend the Counseling Session and an Interview, 10 days after the merit list is displayed. The University will publish the exact schedule for the counseling session separately, based on the candidate’s performance in the written test. The students have to bring along with them the Statement of Purpose (SOP), certificates of extracurricular activities if any.

The candidates who will be shortlisted for the design courses will have to attend an Interview and a Studio test as per the schedule. The students need to carry their portfolio along with a statement of Purpose (SOP).
