RGPV PG Admission 2017

Candidates who are eligible for RGPV PG Admission 2017 can apply for the admission to various PG courses. The process of RGPV PG Admission has been started and must go on as per the schedule provided below. The candidates are advised to apply for admission well before the due date to avoid the last minute rush.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are advised to apply for admission, only if they fulfill the eligibility criterion, as given below. The onus of checking appropriate eligibility lies with the candidate.

For M.E / M.Tech program

  • Every applicant for admission to M.E./M.Tech, first semester shall have passed B.E./B. Tech./B.Arch. or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get relaxation as per the norms of State Government of Madhya Pradesh. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates.

For M.Pharm program

  • For General Candidates B.Pharm with 55% marks and for SC/ST Category B.Pharm with 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates.

Selection Procedure

For M.E. / M.Tech / M.Pharm

The RGPV Admission Committee will be shortlisted the candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the Selected candidates shall be required to submit full Tuition fee of one semester, within seven days from the date of declaration of the list of selected candidates. Failure in submitting the fee shall disqualify the candidature. Canvassing in any form shall lead to rejection of candidature.

Cancellation of Admission

If at any stage, it is found that a candidate has got admission in any course on the basis of false or incorrect information or by hiding relevant facts or if at any time after admission it is found that the admission was given to the candidate due to some mistake or oversight, the admission granted to such a candidate, shall liable to be cancelled forthwith, without any notice at any time during the course of his/her studies, by the Registrar of the university or Director of UIT-RGPV.
