Yenepoya University MBBS / BDS Admission 2020
Eligible candidates with NEET UG 2020 ranking, seeking admission to MBBS/BDS course during 2020-21 under General or NRI categories are required to register the application on mcc.nic.in only and follow the admission procedure mentioned on it.

YU MBBS BDS Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for YU MBBS/ BDS Admission 2020, candidates must check out the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
- The applicant should have passed the 2 year Pre – University Examination in Karnataka or its equivalent examination.
- The candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the academic year of admission.
- The candidate should have studied Physics,Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination conducted by any recognized Indian Higher Secondary Board or equivalent qualification
- Candidates who have passed B.Sc.examinations are also eligible for admission subject to the subjects grouping as approved by the University.
- The candidate should have secured not less than 50% aggregate in the Science subjects in the qualifying examination and a pass in English for admission to MBBS and BDS. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories, the minimum aggregate is 40%.
- The candidate should be medically fit.
- Any other conditions laid down by the University from time to time.
- Admission shall be subject to the approval of Yenepoya University.
- The candidate has to submit, in original, the following documents : a) SSLC Certificate b) PUC 2 Certificate c) Transfer Certificate.
YU MBBS BDS Admission Process 2020
For admission into MBBS/ BDS Admission 2020, candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET – UG) first. After the declaration of the results, candidates have to appear for the Online counselling held by the DGHS. The candidates are then selected on the basis of the Merit Rank List.
For admission process, candidates have to carry the following documents along with them:
- Admit card issued by National Testing agency
- Score card issued by National Testing agency
- Online allotment letter of MCC
- 10th Standard Marks Card
- 12th Standard Marks Card
- Transfer Certificate
- Conduct Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Caste and Income Certificate (wherever applicable)
- Physical fitness certificate
- Passport size and 4 stamp size photos
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- D.D.
- Bond (undertaking as per format furnished) to be on a stamp paper of Rs.200/- to be notarized
- 3 sets of Attested copies of 10th Standard Marks Card, 12th Standard Marks Card, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate and Migration Certificate are to be produced with the originals.
How to Apply for YU MBBS BDS Admission 2020?
Candidates can apply for the Admission into the university through Online counselling held by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Accordingly the Ministry has constituted a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for conducting centralized online counseling and allotment of seats. The Application form for the university also releases on the official website as per the schedule. Candidates can take out a printout of the form, fill and submit it via Offline mode or they can obtain it from the university itself.
