The Delhi University admission process has started. The candidates are eagerly waiting for the DU Cut Off 2018. More than 60 colleges are affiliated with DU and have started to announce cut off on June 18, 2018. The University of Delhi will release the compiled DU First Cut off List 2018 on June 19, 2018. DU Cut Off 2018
The first college to announce the cut off for admission is St. Stephen’s. The cut off for B.A Commerce, Humanities, and Science in the college has gone to 98%, 95.5%, and 98%. DU Cut Off is Announced for How Many Round?
The Delhi University Cut Off can carry out 8 to 12 rounds of admission. The number of rounds depends on the how fast seats are filled in an institute. In all, there are 90 colleges affiliated with Delhi University, however, the cut off is released for around 64 colleges. If the seats in these colleges are filled rapidly, then fewer rounds of DU Admission are conducted.

How the University Prepares DU Cut Off?
To prepare the cut off, the University of Delhi considered a lot of factors. First of all, it will check the number of applications received and compare it with the number of seats.
If the seats are less and the number of aspirants is more than there is a possibility that DU Cut Off will be high. However, this is not the only factor that the University of Delhi considered while preparing the cut off.
The University will also check the marks of the applicants, last year’s DU Cut Off, and various other factors. To prepare the cut off for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or rest of the rounds, DU will analyse the response of candidates in 1st round. The more the vacant seats, the less will be the cutoff.

What is the Admission Process After the Release of DU Cut Off 2018?
If a candidate clears DU Cut Off 2018 then they need to generate admission form for the respective college. The process to generate the admission form is as follows:
- Visit the official website of Delhi University, du.ac.in.
- Then, access the candidate login by submitting registered e-mail id and password.
- Hit the ‘Login’ button.
- Click on the tab to generate the admission form.
Candidates then have to fill the admission form and secure a copy of it. Next, the candidates will have to report at the college. There, the candidates will have to submit the following documents:
- Class 10 mark sheet.
- Class 12 mark sheet.
- Provisional certificate/ original certificate for class 12.
- Character certificate, issued by school or Class -1 Gazetted Officer.
- Transfer certificates from school / college
- OBC Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
- Migration certificate
- SC / ST / PwD / CW / KM certificate (if applicable)
- At least two passport size self-attested photographs.
Note: Candidates should carry these documents in original and as the photocopy. The candidates have to self-attest the photocopies. After the principal of the college approves the documents, the tab to pay the admission fee will appear in the Dashboard of the candidate login. The candidates will then have to pay the amount of application fee.
What Should I Do If I Want to Change Course or College?
If a candidate wants to change the course or college after filling the admission form then the candidates need to login and the cancel the already done admission. To do so, candidates will have to pay a certain amount of fee. Once the fee is paid, the candidates will be able to generate a new admission form. After filling it, follow the same process of reporting at the college and paying the fee amount.
