Rajasthan MCA admission process (RMCAAP) Centre for Electronic Governance is responsible for conducting RMCAAP 2020 for MCA 1st year and MCA lateral entry. Candidates who have qualified in NIMCET 2020 and secure minimum qualifying marks can apply for RMCAAP 2020. The admission process comprises registration, choice filling, issuing of allotment letters, reporting at the college and allotment of seats. In case, seats remain vacant during 1st round of counselling then the remaining seats will be filled during a special round. RMCAAP 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure their RMCAAP 2020 eligibility criteria whether he/ she is eligible or not. Candidates can check the RMCAAP 2020 eligibility criteria for MCA 1st year and MCA (LE) from below:
Nationality: Candidate must a citizen of India.
MCA 1st Year
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or graduation level with minimum 50% marks (5% of relaxation for reserve category of Rajasthan domicile).
- Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in BCA/ B.Sc (Computer Science/ IT) are exempted from having mathematics in 1+2 or graduation.
MCA Lateral Entry
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or at Graduation level with 50% minimum marks (5% of relaxation for reserve category of Rajasthan domicile).
RMCAAP 2020 Online Application Form
Candidates who have qualified in NIMCET 2020 are required to register themselves online from the official website. Candidates have to fill separate application form MCA 1st year and MCA (LE). To fill the online application form, candidates have to go on the official website and fill all the required details in the “Application Cum Registration Form”. Candidates have to pay the application fee in order to complete the application form.
Application fee: After completing the registration, candidates have to pay Rs. 1200/- as application fee.

RMCAAP 2020 Admission Process
Candidates who wish to take admission in MCA 1st year and MCA (LE) after NIMCET 2020 must check the given admission process:
Stage 1 – Online registration and payment of application fee:
Qualified candidates in the NIMCET exam are required to complete the online registration process from the official website. RMCAAP 2020 counselling process will be conducted online. All the information regarding the process will be updated on the official website. After completing the registration, candidates have to pay the application fee as provided above.
Stage 2 – Choice filling and choice saving:
Candidates have to fill their college choices after submitting the application form. Candidates can make the changes before the final submission of application form. During the choice filling, candidates have to save their choices before the final submission. After that, candidates have to lock their choices by clicking on “Lock Choice” button. After final submission, candidates have to download the confirmation page from the official website.
Stage 3 – Allotment:
Allotment of seats is done on the basis of choices filled by the candidates. Allotment will be given to candidates on the basis of RMCAAP 2020 merit. Then, the allotment result will be published on the official website. Candidates have to download and take a print out of the allotment letter from the web portal.
Stage 4 – Reporting:
After receiving the allotment letter, candidates have to report at the allotted college with the 2 copies of self-attested documents along with admission fees and allotment letters. At the time of reporting at college, candidates are issued a provisional admission letter duly signed and sealed by the competent authority of the institute. In case, any candidate will fail to report at the college with the prescribed time period then his/ her allotted seat will be canceled.
RMCAAP 2020 Upward Movement
Only those candidates will be eligible for upward movement who have partaken in the first round of counselling. Candidates who wish to take part in upward movement have to give their consent of participation at the time of 1st round of counselling. Also, those candidates are eligible for upward movement who have partaken in the first round of counselling and did not get seats. Such candidates will be considered for upward movement.
Allotment of new seat: In case, a new college/ institute will be allotted during upward movement then the previous seats will automatically be canceled and became vacant.
Reporting after upward movement: Candidates who get seats through upward movement will have to report at the allotted college on the prescribed date. The allotment is the same as the 1st round of counselling.
RMCAAP 2020 Special Round of Counselling
Vacant seats in the 1st round of counselling will be filled in the RMCAAP 2020 special round of counselling at the institute level. Notice regarding the special round of counselling will be updated on the official website. Candidates are required to apply again and fill their choices according to their preferences. Candidates who are applying for the special round of counselling are required to pay Rs. 1200/-. Candidates who are participated in the special round of couselling can check the merit priority sequence from below:

RMCAAP 2020 Merit
Merit list released by CEG on the official website. Candidates can check the RMCAAP 2020 merit list from the official website. Merit list is prepared on the basis of NIMCET 2020 for NIMCET based examination and graduation marks for graduation based examination. Seats will be alloted to candidates on the basis of “Higher-Merit-Allotted-First”. Also, candidates can check the above merit priority sequence for admission.
Documents Required for RMCAAP 2020
Candidates have to submit the following documents at the reporting institute on the scheduled date:
- NIMCET 2020 scorecard (Self-attested)
- Class 10th/ 12th mark sheet and certificate (Self-attested)
- TSP area certificate (only for ST candidates belongs to TSP area)
- Class 12th mark sheet bearing mathematics as a subject (self-attested)
- Qualifying exam marksheet (Self-attested)
- Self attested copy of Domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Self-attested copy of category certificate (if applicable)
RMCAAP 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case, two or more candidates scored the same marks in NIMCET 2020 then the tie will be resolved on the basis of below points:
- Mathematics marks are considered to resolve the tie.
- If the tie persists then the Analytic Ability & Logical Reasoning is considered to resolve the tie.
- If the tie still not resolve then the Computer Awareness marks are considered to resolve tie.
- At last, if the tie persists then the candidate higher in age is considered.

Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) was founded on December 8, 2006. It is a government autonomous body under the Department of Technical Education.
