RUHS M.Sc (Medical) Admission 2020 Round 2 Counselling
The counselling process consists of online choice filling by the candidates, allotment of seas and reporting to the allotted colleges. The procedure for online choice filling is described below.

Step 3: After successful login, fill preferences for colleges and branches.
Step 4: Finally, take a print out of the choices filled after last date of choice filling.

Eligibility Criteria for RUHS
Following are the Eligibility Criteria’s for different courses offered by the University :
Eligibility for RUHS M.Sc (Medical) :
For M.Sc. (Med) Anatomy, M.Sc. (Med) Biochemistry, M.Sc. (Med) Physiology, M.Sc. (Med) Pharmacology, M.Sc. (Med) Microbiology
- A pass* in MBBS (with completion of compulsory internship) / A pass in BDS (with completion of compulsory internship) / A pass in B.V.Sc & AH with 60% marks in first attempt / A pass in B.Sc (Biology with Chemistry and Zoology) with 60% marks in first attempt.
For M.Sc. (Med) Microbiology, M.Sc. (Med) Biochemistry
- A pass* in B.Sc (Biotechnology) Integrated with 60% marks in first attempt.
For M.Sc. (Med) Microbiology
- A pass* in B.Sc. (Microbiology) with 60% marks in first attempt.
Eligibility for RUHS NURSING :
Post Basic Nursing
- Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam from a recognised University.
- Should have done Diploma in General nursing before the implementation of new
integrated course and Diploma in general nursing and Midwifery after the implementation
of the new integrated course. Or a candidate should have pursued GNM from an Indian Nursing Council.
- A candidate must be medically fit.
- No age limit for admission purpose
M.Sc. Course Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology
- A candidate must be passed MBBS or BDS, along with a compulsory internship. Or must have passed in B.V.Sc & AH or B.Sc. (Biology with Chemistry and Zoology).
- Minimum Marks requirement – 60% in aggregate (in first attempt)
- This course is open to all Indian resident
M.Sc. Microbiology, Biochemistry
60% of marks in average, having cleared B.Sc (Biotechnology) in their first attempt.
- Age – Minimum 17 years of age and upper limit is different of females and males. For females, the upper age limit is 28 years and for males, the upper age limit is 25 years.
- Must have passed 10+2 level with PCB as core subjects from a recognised Board.
- Minimum Marks Requirement – 45% of marks in average (40% in case of SC/ST candidates)
Eligibility for RUHS Pharmacy :
|A pass in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination (with English, Physics and Chemistry subjects along with Biology and/or Mathematics in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination)||A pass in 10+2 examination or intermediate examination or the first year of the three year degree course or pre-degree examination or an equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Biology / Mathematics|
- It is mandatory to pass in individual subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics.
- As per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) notification, candidates from open school are also eligible for admission to B.Pharm. and D.Pharm courses.
Eligibility for RUHS Physiotherapy :
A pass in the senior secondary examination (Class XII) of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together at the qualifying examination (40% for natural born SC & ST).
Medical fitness: A candidate desirous of admission will have to deposit the medical fitness certificate at the time of reporting to the allotted college on the prescribed form certified by a medical officer of the Government of Rajasthan as per the medical standards.
Age limit: A candidate must have completed the age of 17 years but not completed 28 years in case of females and 25 years in case of males
Eligibility for RUHS Paramedical :
- Educational Qualification
At least 45% marks (aggregate of 2 years) in Diploma in Medical Lab Technology / Diploma
in Radiation Technology / Diploma in Ophthalmology [40% in case of candidates belonging
to SC / ST / OBC non creamy layer / MBC non creamy layer of Rajasthan state].
- Domicile criteria
Lateral entry Admission directly to Second year of a UG paramedical course through RCA
PMC 2020 is open to all residents of India. However, preference shall be given to candidates
of Rajasthan domicile.
Registration with Rajasthan Paramedical Council is mandatory.
Eligibility for P.HD.
Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible for Ph.D. course of this University, under the following faculties:
Faculty of Medicine
Clinical subjects: M.D., M.S. or equivalent Master’s degree from a college/university recognized by MCI are eligible to register for Ph.D. in their subject of specialization.
Pre-clinical/Para-clinical subjects: Pre-Clinical/Para-Clinical Subjects: M.D., M.S. or equivalent Master’s Degree after MBBS or non-Medical candidates with three years M.Sc. [Medical] in Anatomy/Physiology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Pharmacology from college/university recognized by MCI / RUHS are eligible to register for Ph.D. in their subject of specialization.
Faculty of Pharmacy
M.Pharm degree or a Master’s degree in Pharmacy considered as equivalent by RUHS Such candidates must have obtained atleast 55% marks in B.Pharm or M.Pharm. A relaxation of 5% marks at PG level to the SC/ST/OBC NCL/MBC NCL and physically handicapped candidates shall be given.

RUHS Admission Process 2020
Admission Process for Medical
The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of score of the admission test and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices / options very carefully. First round of allotment process / counseling shall be on-line on the basis of choices filled by the applicants. If any seat remains vacant after on-line counseling, second round of allotment process / counseling shall be done off-line at RUHS.
Admission Process for Nursing
Candidates need to appear for an computer based online test for M.Sc.,B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Furthermore, selected candidates can find their names appearing in the merit list released by the University. Admission Process for Pharmacy
The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of score of the admission test and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices / options very carefully. For the admission test, separate instructions / guidelines will be provided to the candidates through newspapers / website etc. The decision of RUHS shall be final and binding to all.
Admission Process for Paramedical
The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in the respective Diploma course, seats available in each college and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the option form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices/ options very carefully.
Admission Process for Physiotherapy
The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of senior secondary examination marks (PCB) or score of the admission test (if held) and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices / options very carefully. RUHS reserves the right to decide about mode of admission. The decision of RUHS shall be final and binding to all.
Admission Process for Ph.D
All candidates who secure a minimum of 40% marks in each of the two papers with aggregate 50% marks or more will be declared successful in the RUHS Ph.D Admission Test and will be called for interview. The names of all such candidates shall be notified on the website of the university.The allocation of the supervisor(s) to a selected candidate shall be done by the interview board keeping in view the number of vacant seats available with supervisors, the available specialization among the supervisors, and the research interest of the candidate as indicated by him/her during the interview. The allotment/allocation of the supervisor shall not be left to the individual candidate or supervisor. At the time of interview by the interview board, the candidates are expected to discuss their research interest(s). The decision of the interview board shall be final and binding.
The candidate would have to produce the following original documents and one set of attested photocopies at the time of interview.
- Mark-sheets of passing the undergraduate and postgraduate examinations and of the higher examination, if any.
- Secondary School Examination Certificate.
- Duly signed undertaking form (proforma to be made available on RUHS website).
- Reservation category certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Physical Disability certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable.
Note : If at any stage, it is found that a non-eligible candidate is admitted to a course, then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled on such detection. A penal action may also be initiated against such candidate
How to apply for Rajasthan University of Health Sciences
Candidates seeking admission in RUHS for the academic year 2020 must fill the Application Form for different Courses offered by the University online on the official website. RUHS Seat Details
The tentative number of seats available in each specialization/subject sh be available at the RUHS website (www.ruhsraj.org). The number of seats may increase or decrease as per availability of supervisors; the exact number shall be notified on the website of RUHS at the time of choice filling.
In the Government college, 100% seats (of the intake sanctioned) shall be filled through RCA BPT-2020 and preference will be given to candidates of Rajasthan domicile. In private self-financed colleges, 50% seats (of the intake sanctioned) shall be filled through RCA BPT-2020 and preference will be given to candidates of Rajasthan domicile. Remaining 50% seats (of the intake sanctioned) in each private self-financed college shall be filled under management quota by respective private self-financed college (as applicable). College and course wise tentative seat matrix for the session 2020 will be available at the time of filling choices at the website.

Admission in the colleges will be made only after receiving permission of AICTE, New Delhi for the academic session 2019-20 and subsequent finalization of the list of colleges by RUHS for admission. 100% seats (of the intake sanctioned by AICTE) in the Government University / Department and 85% seats (of the intake sanctioned by AICTE) in B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses in privat Self-financed pharmacy colleges shall be filled through RCA Pharmacy 2019. Remaining 15% seats (of the intake sanctioned by AICTE) in B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses in each private self financed ncollege shall be filled under management quota by respective private self-financed college. College and course wise tentative seat matrix for the session 2019-20 will be made available at the website before choice filling.

In the Government colleges, 100% seats (of the intake sanctioned) shall be filled through RUHS M.Sc (Med) Entrance Examination followed by counseling / allotment process.
