Aliah University Admission 2020 involves filling up of Admission Form, appearing for Aliah University Entrance Test (AUAT) and determining admission on the basis of counselling / merit. Aliah University Admissions are based on the qualifying examination or entrance exam conducted by the university. All Aliah University admissions are subject to verification of facts from the original documentation of the candidates. If an applicant is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to a programme, his / her admission will be cancelled. The Aliah University Admission process for the 2020 session is going to be started in the month of March 2020 from the commencement of the application form. The admission in the concerned course would take place through the University’s entrance exam.

Admission Through AUAT 2020
AUAT stands for Aliah University Admission Test which is conducted every year for the purpose of granting admission in various UG, PG and Doctorate courses. The examination dates for all the exams differ according to their type. This exam is being conducted offline but first candidates have to fill the application form through online mode only by visiting the official website. Before applying for AUAT 2020, candidates must ensure that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the same. Other than this entrance exam, the Aliah University takes the WBJEE merit marks into consideration for the admission purpose.
Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the Aliah University Admission and appear in the entrance exam for the following academic year.
Age Limit – A candidate should be at least of this much of age, as on July 1, 2020, when applied for admission to Aliah University across the following programmes.

Educational Qualification – Other the age limit as eligibility criteria, a candidate will be required to fulfill the educational qualification. Each course has a separate qualification that needs to be fulfilled.
|4-year B. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
5-year integrated Master of Computer Applications/ B.Sc. – M.Sc. in Computer Science
|The candidate must have obtained at least 60% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics taken together in Class 12th and at least 50% in Mathematics. (10+2) appearing candidates are also eligible to appear in AUAT- 2020. However, their admission will be canceled if they fail to secure the above-mentioned criteria later on.|
|3-year B.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics||The candidate must have obtained at least 60% marks in the Chemistry/ Physics and 60% in the Class 12th. Candidates who will be appearing for the final exam of Class 12th are also eligible to apply.|
|2-year M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics||Candidates must have to secure 55% in Chemistry/ Physics Honours from any recognized University.|
|3-year B.Sc. Honors in Mathematics||Candidate must have taken Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry having and secured at least 60% in Mathematics and 60% in aggregate. Candidates who will be appearing for the final exam of Class 12th are also eligible to apply.|
|2-year M. Sc in Mathematics||Candidates must have to secure 50% in Mathematics Honours from any recognized University.|
|3-year B.Sc. Honors in Statistics||Candidate must have taken at least three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, computer science, economics and Statistics) and secured at least 60% in Mathematics / Statistics and 60% in aggregate. Candidates who will be appearing for the final exam of Class 12th are also eligible to apply.|
|2-year M. Sc in Statistics||Candidates must have to secure 45% in Mathematics or Statistics Honours from any recognized University.|
|3-Year B.Sc. Honors in Biological Science||Candidates must have taken English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics/ Agronomy and secured at least 60% aggregate and 60% in Biology in the 12th level. The candidates must have secured at least 50% in each subject.|
|4-Year B.Sc. (Nursing) (only for female candidates)||Only female candidates can apply for this program. The candidate must have obtained 45% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in Class 12th.|
|3-year B.A. in English||The candidate must have studied English having at least 100 Marks in total and has to secure at least 60% in the Subject and 50% aggregate.|
|2-year M.A. in English||Candidates must have to secure at least 45% in English Honours from any recognized university.|
|3-year B.A./B.Sc. Honors in Geography||Candidates must have taken Geography securing minimum 60% in subject as well as 60% in aggregate in the final examination. (B.Sc Degree will be provided to those candidates, who have studied Mathematics in 12th level and have to take Mathematics as one subsidiary subjects)|
|2- year M.A./M.Sc. in Geography||Candidates must have to secure at least 45% in Geography Honours from any recognized university.(M.Sc. degree will be provided to those candidates who have B.Sc. degree)|
|3-year B.A./B.Sc. Honors in Economics||Candidates must have to secure at least 50% in aggregate in the final exam. (B.Sc. Degree will be provided to those candidates, who have studied Mathematics in 12th level and have to take Mathematics and any science subject as subsidiary subjects)|
|5-year integrated Master of Business Administration (BBA – MBA)||Candidates must have to secure at least 50% in aggregate and 50% in English in 10+2 pattern in any branch from a recognized board.|
|2-year M.A. in Bengali / M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC)/ M.A. in Urdu / M.A. in Theology||The candidate should have secured 45% marks in the concerned subject from any recognized University. The candidate should have passed the final examination of the three-year degree programme|
|2-year M.A. in Arabic/ history||The candidate should have secured 55% marks in the concerned subject from any recognized University. The candidate should have passed the final examination of the three-year degree programme|
|M. Tech. in Civil Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering||Should possess a bachelor’s degree in B.E/B.Tech in the relevant discipline with 6.5 CGPA. The candidate who has passed or appeared for the 7th semester with 6.5 CGPA (till 6th semester) are also eligible to apply.|
||Should possess a 3-yr. Honours Graduation / 2-years Master degree/ 5-yr Integrated Master’s Degree in respective discipline with at least 50% marks.|
|3-Year BA (Hons) in Arabic/ Tamil / B.A. in Theology/ BA in Urdu/ BA (Hons) in Islamic Studies||Should have obtained at least 45% in the relevant subject in the 10+2 final exam|
|Lateral Entry to the 2nd Year of B.Tech Programmes||Should possess a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and Electronics & Telecommunication branches) with 60% in aggregate. Candidates who will be appearing in the final examination should secure 55% (average) in 1st to 5th semesters of Diploma|
