|Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Part –I (Class XI) Commerce||Secondary School Certificate / High School Examination of the Aligarh Muslim University or an equivalent examination recognized by AMU.|
|B.A. (Hons.) Arts & Social Science||Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) 10+2, in any stream of this University or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent. However, there is no age bar for admission to B.A (Hons.) programme.|
|B. Com. (Hons.)||Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC, 10+2), in any stream, from AMU or equivalent recognized by AMU.|
|M.A.||Any candidate who has passed B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. or an equivalent degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of Aligarh Muslim University, or any other University or Institute in any state recognized by UGC or AICTE is eligible for admission.|
|M.Com (Hons.)||Any candidate who has passed B.Com or an equivalent degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of Aligarh Muslim University, or any other University or Institute in any state recognized by UGC or AICTE is eligible for admission.|

A candidate can obtain admission form from the Centre for Distance Education (CDE), AMU, or from any one of the designated Study Centre(s), or from the CDE Website. The link to fill the application form will be provided below.
As per last year details the Application fee for form was Rs. 300. Candidates had submitted required documents for admission at the time of filling application form. The admission fee was non-refundable.
Submission of Application Forms
Candidates must submit their duly filled application form to the Centre from where it was obtained. The downloaded forms need to be submitted at the Centre where you are interested to get your admission.
Rejection of Application Form
The application form may be rejected due to any of the following reasons:
- If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria.
- If the qualifying examination is not recognized by Aligarh Muslim University.
- If the application form is not signed by the candidate.
- If the clearance from the AMU Proctor is not given.
- If the application form is incomplete.
- If the information provided by the candidate is incomplete or incorrect.
Note: The information, provided in the application form, must be supported by the documents.
- Applicants must go through the prospectus carefully and fill the required information correctly.
- Candidates who have appeared in a qualifying examination can also apply for provisional admission. However, final admission will be given on the clearance of the qualifying examination.
- The Centre shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
- Candidates will be responsible for any incorrect information.
- The application form is not transferable.
- Candidates must submit attested photocopies of relevant documents along with the application form. They should not enclose any original document
Documents to be submitted with the Application Forms
Applications to various Courses are required to submit photocopies of self-attested marksheets / grade sheets all examinations passed by the candidate.
Selection for Admission
- The list of selected candidates for admission will be displayed at the Office of the CDE, A.M.U., and its Study Centres.
- Admission is open to all those who possess prescribed minimum qualification.
- Admissions are provisional, subject to verification of required documents & eligibility conditions.
