Candidates are advised to check their details carefully, in case of any discrepancy, they should intimate within assigned time on e-mail mentioning their registration number.
After declaration of the merit list a copy of the list will be displayed on the University website. The candidate himself / herself will find his / her merit number from the merit list. The merit list will not be published in the newspaper.
Order of Merit will be determined as follows:
If two or more candidates have secured equivalent marks/rank in the merit Index, then the merit for admission will be determined as follows:-
- If the marks secured in the entrance test are same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who secures higher percentage of marks at High School or equivalent examination.
- If the marks obtained at the High School or equivalent examination are the same then, in that case, the older candidate will be given priority.
- The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit
Weightage: The final merit of the candidates bearing the Outstanding sports person, N.C.C “B” certificate and girl candidates of Faculty of Law will be determined in the merit list by adding 5%, 2.5%, 5% of the total marks obtained by him/her in the combined merit.
Lucknow University Merit List 2017 for PG Courses
The admission to the Post-Graduate Courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education is on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Graduation/Qualifying Examination. Candidates seeking for Lucknow University merit list for PG admission are here by informed that Lucknow University will announce the Merit list on their official website. Candidates can check the merit list from the official website or from this page.
After the declaration of the merit list, a copy of the list has been displayed on the University website. The candidate himself/herself find his/her merit number from the merit list.
A candidate shall be entitled to weightage (if any) on the merit index.
Those candidates who have passed the graduate degree examination of this University and passed their Part I or Part II Examination from other Universities, their merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the BA part III/qualifying examination of Lucknow University.
Final Merit list shall be available in the concerned Departments and same will be available on the University website.
Lucknow University UG Cut Off
Admitted students would be issued allotment letter indicating their details and subjects allotted.
Students would receive their ID cards from the Dean’s office on submission of this allotment letter along with the relevant documents as on July 17, 2017.
The copy of allotment letter has to be submitted in the respective Dean’s office on July 16, 2017 along with a copy of all the relevant mark sheets, Caste Certificate, Subcategory certificate, weightage certificate and original migration /transfer certificate and Year gap certificate for students who have passed intermediate in 2016 or before mentioning the reason for this gap.
All SC/ST students would need to fill their scholarship form online at the NIC portal and submit a copy of this form along with their allotment letter in the SC/St cell of the University to receive their ID cards.
