Tripura Polytechnic Admission 2017 for Diploma Engineering

Candidates who are interested in taking admission in 1st Semester of 6(six) Semesters Diploma Courses for the academic session 2017-18 can submit their application form on or before the scheduled date. Application Form is commenced from 16th June 2017 and last date for submission of application form is 27 Jun 2017. Selection will be done through counselling strictly according to merit.

Application Form 2017

Application forms may be collected on production of Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination from Tripura Institute of Technology or Women’s Polytechnic or Dhalai District Polytechnic or Gomati District Polytechnic or North Tripura District Polytechnic, Bagabassa, Dharmanagar or TIAADC Polytechnic, Khumulwng from 16111 June to 27th June, 2017 within 11.30 AM to 3.30 PM on payment of processing fee of Rs. 100/- In cash. Processing fee is Rs. 50/- In case of BPL candidates.

Application forms may also be downloaded from the websites www.wptripura.nic.in. from 16/06/2017 to 27/06/2017. In case of downloaded forms. Processing fee is to be paid In cash at the time of submission of downloaded applications.

The application forms may be collected from any of the Institutes as mentioned above and filled in applications may be submitted in any of the given Institutes on or before 3.30 P.M. of 27th June, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Aggregate % of marks (English, Mathematics & Physical Science/Science as the case may be) in Madhyamik or equivalent examination from Boards recognised by TBSE.

• UR – 50%
• SC – 45%
• ST – 40%
• Ex-Serviceman – In accordance with the category of reservation
• PH – 40%

Maximum age as on 31/05/2017

• UR – 21
• SC – 24
• ST – 24
• Ex-Serviceman – In accordance with the category of reservation
• PH – 24

Special Features

• Reservation rules of State Government are applicable In case of admission
• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and Permanent resident of Tripura
• Selection will be done through counselling strictly according to merit.
• Wards of Ex- servicemen must apply through Rajya Sainik Board.
• No reviewed marks will be entertained after last date of submission i.e. 27/06/2017.
• CBSE students passed school conducted Examinations are not eligible to apply.
• Students admitted in any Polytechnic of Tripura by counseling in previous years
  are also not eligible to apply.
