Eligibility Criteria

Please go through the information brochure and ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria laid down by the university before you register yourself for the exam. We have listed a few criteria for your reference below.

  • You should be an Indian national.
  • You should be 17 to 25 years of age as on 31st December 2018.
  • You should be a medically fit both physically and mentally fit. Then you are eligible to apply for admission to B. Sc. Nursing Course.
  • Physically Challenged Candidates are NOT eligible to apply for the B.Sc. Nursing Course.
  • You should have cleared your intermediate examination with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as your subjects and scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for the General Category, and 40% for the reserved category students.

Application Form

The application form will be available on the official website. The university will not accept the application form in any offline mode. You need to have a valid email id before registering yourself for the exam as it will be required during your registration procedure. The application fees for the general and OBC category candidates Rs 1000/- and the application fees for the SC / ST candidates – INR 600/-. Incomplete and application claiming false data will be rejected by the officials.

Admit Card

The admit card for the BHU BSc Nursing entrance exam 2018 will be generated once you have successfully registered yourself for the exam. The admit card will be generated a few days after the completion of the registration process. It will be sent to you on your registered email id and it is compulsory that you carry your admit card on the day of your entrance exam as you will not be allowed to appear in the exam without a valid admit card. The admit card will serve as a unique identification proof throughout your admission process hence, it is necessary that you preserve your admit card till the completion of your admission process.

Exam Scheme

The entrance exam will be an objective type exam. It will have a total number of 100 multiple choice questions. Each question will be 4 marks each. Hence, the maximum marks that can be scored by the candidate are 400. The questions will be in both Hindi and English language. There will be 25 questions in each of the section. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses. The minimum percentage of marks required to qualify in the written examination shall be will be 50% for General category and 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST.
