CCS HAU Admission 2017

Candidates can fill their application form for CCS HAU Admission 2017 from the official website hau.ernet.in or http://ccshau.mycollegeform.com/ as per schedule. Those who fill their application for various courses completely in all respect and are eligible for entrance test can download their admit card for entrance test for which they have applied if applicable. The Result of Entrance Tests/Agriculture Aptitude Test is to be displayed on University website www.hau.ernet.in. Admission Committee will verify the eligibility of the candidates for particular programme before Counselling.

The Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University has issued the Admit Card for the Entrance Test. The candidates who have applied for the CCS HAU 2017 Entrance Test can download the admit card to appear in the test.  CCS HAU 2017 Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year – 10+2 or equivalent having passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math or Agriculture stream from a recognized University/Board with 50% marks in 10+2 (relaxable upto 47.5% for SC & Person with Disability (Pwd) candidates)

B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year (2+4) – Matric with 60% marks (relaxable upto 57% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board.

Master Programmes – The minimum qualifications for admissions of fresh as well as in-service candidates shall be 60% marks for General Category and 57% marks for SC/ PwD (Person with Disability)/Differently Abled Category (where OGPA is not given) or a grade point average of 6.00 (10.00 basis) and equivalent for General Category and 5.70 (10.00 basis) and equivalent for SC/PwD (Person with Disability)/Differently Abled Category at the Bachelor’s Degree level from recognized University.

Ph.D Programmes – The minimum qualifications for admissions of fresh as well as in-service candidates shall be 60% marks (where OGPA is not given) or a grade point average of 6.5 (10.00 basis) at Master’s level in the subject concerned (special requirement of subjects for admission to College of Agriculture and Basic Sciences disciplines is given below) from a recognized University. The marks obtained of the project report will not be included in the aggregate marks at the time of preparation of merit.

Exam Pattern

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme

Details of the subjects of Entrance Test are as under:

Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme shall be required to appear in i) Physics ii) Chemistry and iii) Biology/Math./Agri.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year (2+4) programme.

Details of the subjects of Agriculture Aptitude Test are as under:

(30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 hours for solving question paper).

Medium of test = English/Hindi

For M.Sc Programme

The question paper for entrance test will consist of 100 objective multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. Questions not attempted will be ignored. In this way the question paper will be of 100 marks of 1¾ hour duration. The details of 100 questions would be as under:

  • Section A: General knowledge (Common for medical and non- medical stream) 5 Marks
  • Section B: Chemistry (Common for medical and non-medical stream) 35 Marks
  • Section C: Biological Science (For Medical Stream) 60 Marks
  • Section D: – Mathematics and Physics (For Non-Medical Stream) 60 Marks

M.Sc. (Agri.) all programmes

  • Objective type multi-choice questions: 200
    (Half mark will be awarded for each correct answer)
  • Total Marks: 100

Duration of test : 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM
(30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 ½ hours for solving question papers.)

Medium of test = English

No negative marking
