Admission to all undergraduate courses and LL.M is through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) on the merit basis. All the undergraduate and post graduate programmes are full time and residential.

Under Graduate Courses

National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur offers admission to the following UG courses. Candidates seeking admission in NLU, Jodhpur can opt from either of 3 streams namely B.A., B.B.A. and B.Sc. Minimum of 15 students will be required for offering any of the streams i.e. B.A. and B.B.A. on the basis of CLAT merit.

  • B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons)
  • B.Sc., LL.B. (Hons)
  • B.A., LL.B. (Hons)

Intake: The intake capacity of all the three undergraduate degree programmes (B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons),  B.A., LL.B. (Hons), put together is 100 students + 15 (NRI).)

Reservation: The break up of the intake capacity is as under :

  • Scheduled cast : 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes : 7.5%
  • 3% seats in each category are reserved for physically challenged students.

Post Graduate Courses

(I) LL.M. Programmes

National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur offers admission to the 1-year LL.M. Program in Corporate Laws/ Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)/ International Trade Law/ Banking & Finance/ Cyber Law & Cyber Security. Admission to the LL.M programme will be done through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) on the merit basis. A program will be conducted only if there are minimum 10 students opting for the program.

Intake: 20 in each (Admission through CLAT)

Reservation: The break up of the intake capacity is as under :

  • Scheduled cast : 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes : 7.5%
  • 3% seats in each category are reserved for physically challenged students.

(II) M.S. (Insurance) & M.B.A. (Insurance)

Admission is based on the marks at the Graduation Level in any discipline in MBA (Insurance) and Engineering Degree in MS (Insurance).

  • M.B.A. (Insurance) (Four Semesters – 2 Years)
  • Master of Science (Insurance) – (Two Semesters – 1 Year) – For Engineering Graduates only
  • Intake : MBA (Insurance) –Upto 20
    MS (Insurance) –Upto 20
    The number of seats in both MBA (Insurance) & MS (Insurance) programme shall be interchangeable if seats in any programme remain vacant.

Eligibility Criteria

  • M.S. (Insurance) : Candidate must have:
    -Minimum 55% marks in class 10th and 12th.
    -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical
    and allied Engineering Streams excluding Electronics and Tele Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology) from a recognized university with at least 55%
    aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • M.B.A. (Insurance) : Candidate must have:
    – Minimum 55% marks in class 10th and 12th.
    -Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
    -Appeared in CAT 2016/MAT /CMAT 2016- 2017 entrance test and obtained at least 50%
    marks (Result declared and score card obtained on the date of application).

Note : Application form may be procured by sending a demand draft of Rs 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur or may be downloaded from www.insuranceschoolnlu.ac.in and while submitting the
downloaded application a demand draft of Rs 2,000/- must be attached.
