AIOAT 2020 – Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) conducts All India Online Aptitude Test (AIOAT) every year at the national level. The exam is held for admission in various diploma courses in special education (HI / MR / VI / ASD / CP / MD / DB) offered by RCI approved institutions and universities. Candidates have to fill an application form at rehabcouncil.nic.in to appear for Special BSTC exam. AIOAT is a computer-based test in which candidates have to solve 100 MCQ of one mark each in 120 minutes. To be eligible, aspirants must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% marks. AIOAT Exam Pattern
Candidates can check the exam pattern for All India Online Aptitude Test (AIOAT) from below.
- Mode of exam: AIOAT is conducted in online mode.
- Duration: The test is for 120 minutes i.e 2 hours.
- Total number of questions: There are a total number of 100 questions in the exam.

How to Prepare for AIOAT 2020?
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned tips to prepare for AIOAT 2020.
Tip 1: Be an early bird and start the preparation as early as possible.
Tip 2: Candidates should go through the NCERT books and solve questions from them. The level of the exam is 10+2 level.
Tip 3: Make notes so that at the time of the revision, the candidate does not face issues.
Tip 4: Practice previous year question papers as much as possible. This is how candidates can get a clear idea of the exam pattern and type of questions.
Tip 5: For numerical questions, candidates should practice questions on a daily basis and for English, candidates should read the English newspapers and books.
AIOAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria from the below-given points.
- Qualification: Candidate must have qualified 10 +2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Marks: Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. 45% is the minimum for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination i.e 12th standaip 5:rd this year can apply for AIOAT subject to their qualifying the exam with 50% by the time of taking admission in the diploma course.
AIOAT 2020 Application Form
Candidates have to fill an application form online to appear for the All India Online Aptitude Test (AIOAT). Aspirants must make sure that they have a valid email ID before applying for the exam. In the AIOAT application form, candidates have to provide the personal and qualification details along with attaching the images and making the payment of the application fee.
Application Fee: The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates can check the expected fee anount from below.
- Rs 500/- for General and OBC candidates
- Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates
Steps to Fill the Application Form
Candidates can check the steps for applying for AIOAT from below.
Step 1: First of all, candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the “Fresh Candidate to Create Login” tab and providing in details required and a valid email ID.
Step 2: Next, candidates have to complete the application form by entering personal and qualification details such as name, date of birth, qualifying exam marks, phone number, gender, caste, year of passing and so on.
Step 3: Then, candidates have to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
Step 4: Moving forward, candidates have to specify the course in which he/she wish to get admitted along with selecting the name of five (5) institutes in order of preference as per his.her choice for admission in that institute.
Step 5: Thereafter, candidates should make the payment of the application fee via debit/credit card or net banking. Once all the steps are done, candidate shall take a print out of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

AIOAT 2020 Admit Card
Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) releases the admit card for the candidates who have submitted the application form before the due date. AIOAT admit card is the unique identifier for the candidate in the admission process. Candidates can download the admit card by login using their application number, date of birth and email id. AIOAT 2020 admit card is not sent via post to the candidate’s address. On the test day, candidates have to carry the print out of the admit card as, without it, candidate’s entry is not allowed.

AIOAT 2020 Result
After the successful conduct of the examination, RCI releases the result in the form a scorecard. AIOAT scorecard consists of the candidate’s marks obtained in the exam. To check the result, candidates have to log in using their ID and date of birth.
After the release of the scorecard, based on the candidate’s scores, the National merit list is prepared by the council which can be checked by the candidates on the official website, rehabcouncil.nic.in. Candidates are given admission in diploma courses in special education offered by RCI approved universities based on the merit. Three round of admission are conducted and seats are allotted as per the rank, choice of institute and availability of seats.
