NEET Counselling 2026 – MCC Schedule, Registration & Seat Allotment at mcc.nic.in

NEET Counselling 2026 – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET UG 2026 counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats after the result is declared in June 2026. MCC counselling covers 15% AIQ seats in government medical colleges, and 100% seats in deemed universities, central universities, ESIC institutions, AFMS colleges, AIIMS, and JIPMER. State quota seats (85%) are filled through separate state counselling conducted by respective state authorities.

Qualified candidates must register on mcc.nic.in to participate in MCC NEET counselling 2026. The counselling is conducted in multiple rounds including Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

How to Register for NEET Counselling 2026

  1. Visit mcc.nic.in after the counselling schedule is released
  2. Register with your NEET roll number, result details, and pay the registration fee
  3. Fill in your college and course preferences (choice filling)
  4. Lock your choices before the deadline
  5. Check the seat allotment result for your round
  6. Download the allotment letter and report to the allotted institution with required documents

      Hey Nandini, it is hard to get the govt college for MBBS,but you can get the admission in other courses.

      Not it is not compulsory to register in ALL India quota to register for the counselling in the the state quota.

      hey khyathi, well the basic difference between the round 1 counselling and round 2 counselling is that the cutoff for round 1 is high and the cut off admission in round 2 is less than the round 1.

    I made the payment of 2.05 lacs but i am not intrested for deem universities as fee is too high. Will i get 2 lacs back if i do not fill my choice and lock for deemed university? I am only intrested for goverment collages. Plz advise what to do now? I have got 529 under OBC so advice if i can get any gov mbbs college under AIR

    Or having other best option
    Or get government college in other state

      well you’re eligible for both the counselling i.e state or the All India Counselling and there might be chances that you’ll get the college.

      well from this year a new rule has been published that if you had hold a seat in All India counselling then you will not allowed to hold the another seat in any further counselling.
