GCET Goa Common Entrance Test

Goa CET 2018 Application Form is now available. The forms are released online, on www.dtegoa.gov.in. However, the application form has to be submitted offline or on before the last date. The Application Form (A/B/C) for admission is also included in the Common Prospectus and also given below. These forms shall be accepted at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa, and other notified locations, as per schedule.

Applicants seeking admissions to Engineering and Pharmacy, based on GCET-2018, are required to submit Form A. Applicants seeking admissions to B.Arch course are required to submit Form C, while applicants seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS BHMS(Homeopathy) and BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences, and Nursing courses, based on NEET-2018, are required to submit Form B. However, a single Acknowledgement Card shall be issued.

Applicant must enter all the categories in the relevant application form (A/B/C) he/she is eligible and wishes to apply for. Requests for the change in category will not be entertained after the last date of receipt of application form.

Application Form: 

Goa CET 2018 Application Fee Payment Facility

Application Fee: Rs.1800/-

HDFC Bank is providing GCET application fee payment facility through their CMS (Cash Management Service). Cashless transactions (Net banking/Debit /Credit card) as well as cash payments are facilitated.

Applicants can visit nearest (ANY) branch of HDFC Bank in Goa and remit the GCET application fee through their CMS. No extra charges/fees are applicable for availing this facility.

Therefore, applicants are advised to utilize this payment facility, thereby saving their time, expense and effort in procuring Demand drafts by paying commission charges. Applicants are required to submit receipt/payment challan as a proof of payment of the fee, together with their GCET application form at application receiving centre.

Note: Demand drafts drawn on other banks would also be accepted.

Application Procedure for Goa CET 2018

The brochure is available on the website at www.dtegoa.gov.in which contain the application form at the bottom of the page. Candidates can also download the application form from the link given above. Candidates are informed that they will take the print out of this form and other certificates such as caste certificate etc. from it. They are required to fill in the following details as part of the application form completion:-

    1. Roll Number- to be filled by the office
    2. Recent photograph- (not older than 3 months)
    3. Name- In CAPITAL LETTERS as it appears in SSCE certificate
    4. Date of Birth- as in SSCE certificate
    5. Place of Birth-
    6. Gender- Male/Female
    7. Address- House No./Street Name/Area/Village/Town/City/ Pincode/ State
    8. Phone Number- must be given with area code in brackets
    9. Subject Code: Encircle codes of subjects you intend to attempt.
    10. Centre Code: Choose your centre by writing the centre code and name.

After completing the above form, the candidates must attach the self-attested copies of the following:-

  • 2 additional identical passport size photographs
  • SSCE Passing Certificate.
  • Std XIIth passing certificate or HSSC Examination Hall Ticket
  • Demand draft

This Form should be accompanied by Demand draft for Rs. 1800/-payable at Panaji, in favour of “Director of Technical Education” drawn on any Scheduled Bank, or any other approved form of remittance, as may be duly notified.
