TSCHE CETs – TSCHE has been postponed all Common Entrance Tests (CET) in Telangana State. Higher education admission in Telangana state is done through a common entrance test (CETs). In all, 8 entrance exams are held in the state, for admission of candidates in UG / PG engineering, pharmacy, physical education, management, etc. courses. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is responsible for holding the exams. However, it has further divided the responsibility among various universities. The Universities now hold the exam on behalf of TSCHE but the decisions making power is with the council. The date and details for all the TSCHE CETs are given on this page, scroll down.

Notice on TSCHE CETs Exam Postponed
Telangana State Council of Higher Education has postponed all TSCHE CETs 2020. Check the official website details image is given below.
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is held for admission of candidates in UG engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture colleges. The candidates who passed / are appearing in 10+2 can apply for this CET. Earlier the exam was also held for medical admission. However, now medical admissions are done on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) is held for admission in the 3 years / 5 year LLB regular course. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or are appearing for board exams are eligible to apply for the exam. Admission is offered in the law colleges, in the state.
LAWCET is for UG law admission, whereas, Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) is for PG law admission. Through the examination, admission in 2 year LLM course is granted. The candidates holding LLB / BL degree can apply for this entrance exam. The exam is only held at selected districts in the state of Telangana.
This test is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, to fill MBA and MCA seats in the state. To appear for this entrance exam candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. The exam is held at selected districts of Telangana state for admission in the universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges.
Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) is conducted for admission into B.P.Ed. (2 years) and D.P.Ed. (2 years) courses. The candidates who have appeared or passed three-year degree examination can apply for B.P.Ed. course admission via TS PECET. On the other hand, the candidates who have appeared or passed Intermediate exam can appear for the exam, to get admission in D.P.Ed. course.
TS PGEC is a counselling process. It is carried out to fill PG Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch ), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) seats. The admission is granted on the basis of GATE and GPAT scores.
Candidates who do not possess GATE or GPAT score can appear for TS Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. Through this examination, candidates are granted admission in PG Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch ), and Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) course. To apply for the exam, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, in the respective subject.
Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) is held for admission in the B.Ed (2 years), in colleges of Telangana state. The candidates who have passed / appearing in any bachelor’s degree can appear for the common entrance test.
Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) is for admission of diploma holders and B.Sc (mathematics) degree holders. Admission is offered in 2nd-year regular B.E / B.Tech and B.Pharm courses in both University and private unaided professional institutions of the state.
