IIFT Result of exam to be held on 03 December 2017 for MBA IB admission 2018-20 will be announced in December/January. Enter application number and DOB to check result for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) 2018. IIFT Result 2018 is released along with score card which is also issued online only, and not sent by post or other modes. After IIFT 2018 result of written exam is announced, there will be group discussion, written skills analysis, and interview. IIFT 2018 score plays an important role as only those who get marks equal or more than cut off in result are called for group discussion, written skills analysis, and interview in January / February 2018. Last time 1973 students were selected among 52,000.IIFT final result will be announced with IIFT final selection list.

Significance of IIFT 2018 Result

The candidates can check their results online on the official website of IIFT. The result will have candidate’s application no., name, score and percentile. The candidates will be shortlisted for further rounds on the basis their score and percentile in IIFT exam 2018. Candidates will have to go through the following before the final selection.

What’s next in IIFT 2018

A good score in IIFT exam won’t ensure a seat in IIFT the following rounds are equally important. All the candidates shortlisted for further rounds. Candidates might receive a comprehensive form on email which they need to fill and submit at IIFT. Candidates are required to select their interview centre. The candidates will first go through a Writing Skills Assessment test followed by a Group Discussion and then candidates will be called for personal Interviews after a break.

Things to keep in mind while preparing for the interview of IIFT 2018

Writing Skills Assessment: Candidates can prepare for the writing ability by about a summary on daily current affairs, it would be great if they some facts and data about the topic given in IIFT but if not then the candidate should try to be logical, precise and avoid making silly and grammatical errors.

Group Discussion:  In the GD round each candidate will speak for 1 min about the given topic and then there will be open for discussion. Reading news, expert views and editorials and try to form opinions. Candidates can practice smalls GD with their friends on current topics. Try to have a structure in mind about the topic. Candidates should take time and make valid arguments backed by facts and data to get brownie points in the GD.

Personal Interview: Prepare your resume well, be ready with some expected questions like “Why MBA?” and “Tell me about yourself”. Be honest and open in the Interview, be comfortable with saying no to questions you don’t have clue about. The interview would be test of your confidence and attitude.
