LHMC B.Sc Nursing 2019
The College of Nursing offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course of 4 years duration. Regular admissions are made in the month of July each year. The number of admissions shall be according to the number of seats available. At present 50 seats are available. The merit list of qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written entrance test.

Candidates need to apply in offline mode only, no other mode of application has been released by the LHMC. The candidates must visit the above “application form” quick link to download the application form for LHMC B.Sc. admission 2019. A candidate seeking admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) the nursing course needs to submit an application on the prescribed form obtainable from the website: lhmc-hosp.gov.in.
Candidates aspiring for admission in B.Sc. Nursing 2019 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. If any of the criteria is not fulfilled by the aspirant her application for the admission would be rejected.
Gender: Only women candidates are eligible for this course.
Educational Qualification: Candidate seeking admission to First Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course must have passed the Examination with Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination/Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2)or its equivalent from recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates) of four subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, provided the student has passed in each subject separately. Students who have appeared in+2/SSC or equivalent examination in this year awaiting results may also apply.
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 17 years as on 31st December 2019.
The candidates who will successfully fill the offline application form will be able to receive the admit card for written test via post. The venue for the examination will be mentioned on the admit card. Candidates must bring the admit card to the examination hall. All candidates will be required to appear for a written entrance test which will be conducted as per the schedule provided above. The test will consist of objective type questions in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The question paper will be in English medium. The written entrance test will be of two-hour duration and will be based on Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The result of written selection test and list of candidates for counseling will display on website lhmc-hosp.gov.in & on the notice board of the College of Nursing. Notification regarding counseling/admission of the candidates mentioned in the list will also be displayed on the college notice board and website: lhmc-hosp.gov.in simultaneously.
Category wise list of the candidates (in order of merit of marks obtained in the entrance test will be prepared for the purpose of counseling.
Method Of Selection
- All candidates will be required to appear for written test, the question paper will be in English. Admission ticket of candidates will be dispatched by June 18, 2019.
- Admission of the candidates shall be made by the process of counselling. The attendance of all the candidates called for counselling shall be recorded between given time and afer that process of counseling shall start.
- Attending the counseling does not ensure admission shall stop once the requisite seats are filled. The admission process shall be done as per the displayed merit list of unreserved and reserved category candidates as per extant reservation rules.
Admissions of the candidates shall be made by the process of counseling in the office of the principal, College of Nursing Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi-110001. The attendance of all candidates called for counseling shall be recorded between 10:00 – 10:30 am and after that process of counseling/allotment shall start.
The counseling process shall take place only on the personal appearance of the candidate. Only in the event of any hospitalization of the candidate, an authorized representative may be permitted and is subject to production of a medical certificate from a hospital, authority letter from the candidate along with an attested photo of the representative, documents and admit card in original.
Attending the counseling does not ensure admission to the course and the process of admission shall stop once the requisite seats are filled. The admission process shall be done as per the displayed merit list of unreserved and reserved category candidates as per extant reservation rules.
The decision of the counseling committee shall be final and binding.
At the time of counseling/admission for B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing Course, the candidate must be present along with the following original documents:
- Admission ticket of selection test 2019.
- Aadhar card/Number.
- Class X board examination certificate.
- Class XII marks-sheet.
- Class XII provisional certificate/original certificate.
- Recent character certificate (within last 6 months).
- SC/ST certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
- Recent OBC non-creamy layer certificate in the name of the candidate issued by competent authority (if applicable).
- Transfer certificate from board/college as well as migration certificate from board/university is required from those students who have passed senior secondary examination from outside Delhi.
- Disability certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate for CWWAPP category (if applicable).
- Certificate of EWSs.
