Goa CET 2019 – Directorate of Technical Education has announced Goa CET 2019 Result and released the answer keys as well. The entrance exam for Goa Common Entrance Test was conducted on May 7 and 8, 2019. The result of GCET 2019 can be checked from dte.goa.gov.in or the link below. The score and merit secured by the candidates is mentioned on the result. Goa CET is a state level common entrance examination, conducted for UG engineering and Pharmacy admissions. Goa CET 2019 / GCET 2019
Admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS(Homeopathy), BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences and Nursing courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2019. In Architecture courses, the admission will be granted on the basis of NATA 2019 scores.
Through Goa CET 2019 Result, candidates will get admission to Professional Degree courses in Engineering and Pharmacy, in the colleges within the State of Goa (except GOI).

Goa CET 2019 Result
Goa CET 2019 Result is announced online at DTE Goa official website. No individual scorecard shall is issued to the candidates. Furthermore, no correspondence with regard to revaluation and re-totalling is accepted.
The Provisional merit lists of all professional courses and categories will be displayed on the Notice Board at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa as per the time and date mentioned in the schedule of Admission and also will be made available on the website. For all categories, separate provisional merit lists shall be prepared and displayed as under:
- Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing based on NEET-UG-2019.
- Engineering for all eligible candidates based on GCET-2019.
- Pharmacy for all eligible candidates based on GCET-2019.
- Architecture for all eligible candidates based on NATA.
All applicants should verify the correctness of their marks & merit position in the provisional merit list. In case of any detected errors, they should immediately (within 24 hours) inform the Chairman, Admission Committee, in writing, failing which, the Admission Committee shall not be held responsible for the consequences of such errors.

Goa CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of Goa CET 2019 is as mentioned below. It has to be fulfilled by all the candidates.
- Admission to professional courses in the State of Goa is open to Indian nationals
- Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
- An applicant must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year.
- No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board, and must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects, as prescribed for the admission to respective professional courses, as under.
Goa CET 2019 Application Form
Candidates have to fill the particulars and submit the form at notified locations as per Centre opted. Application forms shall be accepted at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa, and other notified locations, as per schedule. The late fee will be charged if the application form is submitted after the prescribed date. The incomplete form shall be rejected.
Applicants are advised to submit the application form by themselves. Please ensure that the validity of the Demand Draft is at least 3 months from the date of issue.
Application fee of Rs. 2,000/- as per last year payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” with client code ‘DRCTORTEDU’ in any branch of HDFC Bank in the State of Goa,(or any other approved mode of remittance, as notified), and three identical photographs as indicated, and other specified certificates (self-attested photocopies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee.
Goa CET 2019 Admit Card
Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person. Admit Card will be sent to the candidate via post to the address mentioned in the Application Form filled by the candidate. Candidate must ensure that the receive the admit card on the scheduled date, if not then they should approach the appropriate office for queries.
Goa CET 2019 Test Centres
Admission committee shall allow the candidate their test centre along with the code. You must carefully note down the code. The cities assigned are as follows:
Note: No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the examination.
Goa CET 2019 Exam pattern
Exam pattern: There will be a total of 75 in each paper and candiadtes will have to solve them in 2 hours time. The question will be multiple choice and will have 4 options out of which only 1 question will be correct.
Marking scheme: The correct answer shall carry one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answers.
Goa CET 2019 Syllabus
The question paper will incorporate questions from subjects taught by the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim, for Standard XIIth (Science) examination. It may include topics from the following subjects:- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
