GCET 2018 will be held on May 08 and 09, 2018. It is a state level entrance exam which is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. Under Goa CET 2018 the exam for Physics and Chemistry will be held on May 08, 2018. The paper for Mathematics will be held on May 09, 2018. The Application Form of Goa CET 2018 / GCET 2018 can be submitted to appear in the exam. Candidates who have already passed/have appeared, or are appearing at HSSC (Std. XII th Science) or equivalent examination, before the start of the academic session, are eligible to appear at GCET. Goa GCET 2018
All candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Professional Degree courses in MBBS, BDS, BHMS(Homeopathy), BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences and Nursing in the colleges within the State of Goa during the academic session 2018-19, must appear and have a valid score in NEET UG-2018, and should fulfil other eligibility criteria for admission as given in this prospectus. Merit list for these courses shall be based only on NEET UG-2018 scores.
All candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Professional Degree courses in Engineering and Pharmacy, in the colleges within the State of Goa (except GOI) during the academic session 2018-19, must appear and have a valid score in GCET-18 and should fulfill other eligibility criteria. Merit list for these courses shall be based only on the GCET-18 score.
All candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Degree Courses in Architecture must appear and have a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA-2018), conducted by Council of Architecture, and should fulfill other eligibility criteria for admission, as notified by Council of Architecture.

Goa CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of Goa CET 2018 is as mentioned below. It has to be fulfilled by all the candidates.
Nationality – Admission to professional courses in the State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
Age – An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year. No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board, and must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects.
Goa CET 2018 Application form
The application form is asked for submission in offline mode. Candidates have to fill up the particulars and submit the form at notified locations as per Centre opted. The candidate has also enclosed application fee payable via demand draft. Application forms shall be accepted at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa, and other notified locations, as per schedule. The late fee will be charged if the application form is submitted after the prescribed date. The incomplete form shall be rejected.
Applicants are advised to submit the application form by themselves. Please ensure that the validity of the Demand Draft is at least 3 months from the date of issue.
Application fee of Rs. 1800/- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank(or any other approved mode of remittance, as notified), and three identical photographs as indicated, and other specified certificates (self-attested photocopies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee.
Goa CET 2018 Admit Card
The candidates wishing to obtain their admit Card were required to ascertain from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates who appear in person at the admission committee.
Admission committee shall allow the candidate their test centre along with the code. You must carefully note down the code. The cities assigned are as follows: Tiswadi Cujira(Bambolim), Panaji, Verna, Navelim, Vasco, Mapusa, Ponda-1, Ponda(Farmagudi), Bicholim, Curchorem, Porvorim, Assagao, Sanquelim, Cuncolim, and Dharbandora.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the examination.
Goa CET 2018 Exam pattern
Each paper will comprise of 75 questions all of which must be answered in 2 hours. Each question will have 4 choices for answers, out of which only one shall be correct. The correct answer shall carry one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answers.
The question paper will incorporate questions from subjects taught by the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim, for Standard XIIth (Science) examination. It may include topics from the following subjects:- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
Goa CET 2018 Result
Results will be available on Notice Board at DTE. No individual scorecard shall be issued. Any change in schedule will be notified in designated newspapers. No correspondence with regard to revaluation and re-totaling is to be requested.
The Provisional merit lists of all professional courses and categories will be displayed on the Notice Board at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa as per the time and date mentioned in the schedule of Admission and also will be made available on the website. For all categories, separate provisional merit lists shall be prepared and displayed as under:
- Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing based on NEET-UG-2018.
- Engineering for all eligible candidates based on GCET-2018.
- Pharmacy for all eligible candidates based on GCET-2018.
- Architecture for all eligible candidates based on NATA.
All applicants should verify the correctness of their marks & merit position in the provisional merit list. In case of any detected errors, they should immediately (within 24 hours) inform the Chairman, Admission Committee, in writing, failing which, the Admission Committee shall not be held responsible for the consequences of such errors.
