VITMEE Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria laid down by the examination body to be eligible to appear in the examination. Hence, they should refer to the information brochure before applying for the examination. A few criteria are listed below for the candidates reference.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA programme
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Should have secured minimum 60% marks in the bachelor’s degree exam.
- Those who are appearing the final year exam are also eligible to apply for MBA admission
- Relative work experience will be an added advantage for the students
- Candidates must have taken any of these: CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA
Eligibility Criteria for MCA programme
- Applicants should be an Indian national and should have completed graduation from Institute/ University located in India.
- Should have obtained minimum 60% marks in BCA/ BSC (IT) with Mathematics as a course studied in Class 12th or at graduation level.
- For MTech admission, Candidates must possess the BE/ BTech degree in the relevant discipline.
- Candidates should have a consistent academic record in Class 10th and 12th
- Those who are appearing in their final year degree exam/ semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
VITMEE Application Form
The application form for VITMEE is released by online mode. No offline form is released for the candidates to apply for the entrance exam. Firstly, candidates have to register online by entering their email id, mobile number, etc. Once the registration part is done, candidates can proceed to fill in details in the VITMEE application form. Upload the scanned images of your passport size photo and signature. Then, finally, pay the required amount of the application fee and submit the form online.

VITMEE Slot Booking
VITMEE slot booking is a web-based online scheduling system. Only those candidates can book the slots who have filled the Application Form. Candidates are required to their slots, test centre, date of the examination. Candidates must keep in mind that the slot booking is done on first – come – first – basis. A slot once booked cannot be changed later. After the booking of the slots, an e-mail is going to be sent to the registered e-mail id. It is only after booking the slots candidates can download VITMEE Admit Card.
VITMEE Exam Pattern
To prepare for the entrance exam, candidates can refer to the exam pattern for VITMEE as provided below:
- Mode of the exam: It is a computer-based examination
- Duration of the exam: The entrance exam is of 02 hours duration.
- Type of question: Candidates have to solve multiple choice objective type questions
- Number of questions: There are a total 100 number of MCQ type question
- Total marks: The entrance exam is of total 100 marks
- Marking Scheme: For a correct answer, you will get 01 marks and there shall be no negative marking for incorrect answer.

VITMEE Counselling
VIT releases the list of qualified candidates in the entrance exam online at its official website. Qualifiers in the entrance exam are then eligible to appear for and interview/ VITMEE counselling at Vellore/ Chennai/VIT-Bhopal/VIT-AP. On the day of the counselling, candidates need to submit the relevant documents for verification and pay the adission fee to confirm their seat. Canddiates are allowed to participate in VITMEE counselling only after the verification of document.

The following documents are required to be submitted at the time of Admission:
- X and XII Std. Marks statement
- Mark Sheets of allsemesters/ years ofthe qualifying examination upto pre-final/ final year as applicable
- Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate (If already received)
- Transfer/Migration/College Leaving Certificate obtained from the Institute last studied. (If already received) (Original)
- Valid GATE score card for Candidates applying for M.Tech. (if applicable)
- Service Certificate issued by the Employer. (For sponsored candidates – for M.Tech. programmes only)
- Community Certificate (only for SC/ST categories)
- Conduct Certificate (Original)

- Physical Fitness Certificate
- Admission letter and a photocopy ofthe programme fee receipt
- Four copies of recent passport size colour photograph

VITMEE Admission Process
Candidates are required to go through the required admission process if they want to take admission into their concerned examination. Refer to the information given below for the same:
- Candidates need to register first and then apply online by paying a non – refundable fee.
- After applying online, candidates need to download their admit cards and appear for the examination.
- After that, candidates need to check their results and appear for the Counselling Process at the allotted centre.
- The list of the short – listed candidates will be published on the website or personal SMS will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number for the interview / counselling.
- Candidates who will be selected they will have to have to pay some amount as a counselling fee.
