VITMEE 2018 exam is conducted annually by VIT University. It is an university level entrance examination. The full form of VITMEE is VIT Master’s Entrance Examination. Candidates who wish to pursue M.Tech or MCA courses offered by the VIT University campuses situated in Vellore & Chennai need to appear for the VITMEE 2018 exam.

Interested candidates need to register themselves for the examination. They can do after ensuring that they fulfill all the eligibility criterias laid down by the official examination body. They can register for the exam through the official website. Candidates will be granted admission on the basis of the scores scored by the candidates in the VITMEE 2018 exam.

VITMEE 2018: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria laid down by the examination body to be eligible to appear in the examination. Hence, they should refer to the information brochure before applying for the examination. A few criteria are listed below for the candidates reference.

  • Applicants who wish to appear for VITMEE 2018 should be an Indian National.
  • Foreign nationals should refer to the international students tab mentioned on the official website.
  • Candidates should have done their graduation from a recognised university and qualified it with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
  • Candidates should have authentic records of class X & XII.
  • Candidates should be appearing or cleared their graduation final exam.

VITMEE 2018: Application Form

Candidates will be able to fill their application forms on the official website of the university. i.e www.vit.ac.in. It should be noted that the candidates do not need to submit their application form in the offline mode. Application forms should be duly filed and submitted on the official website of the university that is mentioned above. Candidates will be able to pay the application fees of approx Rs 950 through any online mode. Application form submission is incomplete until the fees has been paid.

VITMEE 2018: Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download their admit card as soon as they book their examination slot for VITMEE 2018. It is compulsory that the candidates carry their admit cards on the day of examination. Candidates who fail to present a valid admit card will not be allowed in the exam hall. Candidates should remember not to tamper with the details mentioned on the admit card. Candidates caught cheating or impersonating another candidate will not only be disqualified but will also be legally prosecuted.

VITMEE 2018: Exam Pattern

VITMEE 2018 will be a computer based test. It will not be conducted in the offline mode. The exam will be an objective type exam. Candidates will be asked multiple choice questions. The total number of questions that will be asked in the examination will be 100. The examination will be of 2 hours duration. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct response. However, no marks will be deducted for an incorrect response.
